The £60 cashback T&C say that the customer is committed for 12 months or more, and that the application dates for the offer have expired, so I can't find the details mentioned above ...

You must be picking up an old page it has nothing to do with the offer you mention.Clear your cookies etc and retry its clearly mentioned on the opening page.I have spoken to them and discussed it,its for real.

    Heres another link to it.

  • yeah certainly looks as if you have to commit yaself for 12 months. Not sure whether I can be bothered with the hassle, not good money saving I know, but I've just signed up with planet talk.

I was getting the front page ok, but as I said earlier and just pointed out to them, the T&C page is out of date.

The T&C you are reading are the out of date ones.Does Planet Talk offer you free calls at peak rate as well.

Like i said i spoke to TT, and they say on the new offer you can cancel after six months or before that even. Seems like you money savers dont wanna save money. :rotfl: Are you all so dubious about money saving info. :D

    So true.

I've just emailed them and asked if it was subject to anykind of minimum term contract and if the offer was subject to taking line rental with them.

I emailed them as then I have it in writing if they ever claim at a later date something else. Anything they say verbally would be hard to prove but this way its in writing. I'll post again here with their response.

    UPDATE:

Just had an automated email telling me the message has been delayed at cpwplc.com as can't connect to host, and it will keep trying for another 42hours.

I was told on the phone that it is dependent on a line rental agreement, that strictly speaking it is true, you can cancel the line rental agreement after 3 months, and the free calls at any time, but why would you want to?

I was also told that you can use prefixes of other companies in conjunction with the line rental deal, she assumed. Assumed? - maybe other people here can tell us whether that is actually true.
The T&C you are reading are the out of date ones.
Thank you, but I had said that myself already.

When the offer and the ambiguities attaching to it are clarified, and the sales staff trained on it ...

No, I'm well up for saving money, but I like to know exactly that any move ain't gonna end up costing me more money in the long run. ;) If it comes back that there is no probs cancelling just before the 6 months ends, then I'm certainly up for transferring to talk talk.
