I'd personally go ahead and do it. I've done the same phone shop more than once. One I did on Saturday and I'd already MSed them for the company in July. It was a totally different guy this time. They must see so many people and if you did it in July I think you should be safe. HTH

Can't you use a false name?

Any chance you can give me a clue how to search for telephone jobs on RE? All I can do is search by town... I can't even see anywhere to email RE and ask them for advice. Would really appreciate a hint.

I'd just do it, if I were you. You may well, in all likelihood get a different SA anyway, who wouldn't remember you.

Has anyone done a financial enquiry shop at the Gap computer shop?

It says no purchase required (which I wouldn't have done, if I'd noticed on allocating the job) but then it asks you for a receipt and the store number from the quote.

Well, there was no mention of a quote in the questionnaire, so I didn't ask for one.

Anyone who's done one? TIA

This is a mobile phone shop, I have no idea to search for telephone jobs, they just come up on the bottom of your available assignments if there are any, but mostly this is blank for me :rolleyes:

Thanks all, I will book it and see how it goes, I know in my job (travel agent) I forget people really quickly but I might have a vague feeling I have seen them before but I would never ask them LOL I will use my maiden name too

I did one these today plus another scenario too. I put N/A in store number but did put it in brackets after as I had it from the receipt anyway. I put the name of the store and address in anyway but nowhere does it mention you have to get a quote so I didn't either :rolleyes:

Just hope it goes through ok......but if you needed a quote they should have put in on the notes surely. Paperwork isn't that great for this job - mine asked me to check 4 areas but in the questionnaire one of the areas was different :mad:

I would just do it.

Can you make yourself look different?
eg - change your hairstyle (easy for me as I've got waist length hair!)
sometimes I wear glasses and sometimes I wear contacts
sometimes I wear jeans and a casual top, sometimes I wear business wear
etc.

Same for me too. The store numbers etc are on the front of my paperwork so I think I put those in.

As usual the paperwork is confused and asks for the wrong things. :rolleyes:

Re the phone shops; I've gone in the same shop two days in a row, once as a regular shopper and the next time as an MSer. I've found that phone shops do remember people for a few months....me anyway!

Usually an excuse such as this one is for work or didn't get a phone last time and wanted to see what new phones there are manages to get me off the hook.
