Does anyone else do RE jobs on Firefox? It's such a pain the answers seem to get lost and I end up with about 10 proofreading queries on each job. uuuugh!

I use Firefox on my mac and haven't had any troubles on RE so far :) But I have to input my claim details on TNS in Safari for some reason. Just don't mention Aba-i!

I managed to find a grocery shop local to me for the first time with GAP but of course after the test it had gone. Grrrrr.........so I added another electrical shop the same day as I'm already doing one already. Different scenario but should work out quite well ;) no reason why both jobs can't relate to the same person is there? Especially as it can be hard enough to find anyone sometimes lol!

This is where I'm very grateful Mum and Dad live not too far. Took my mum to the first meal and then hubby to the next and have taken him to pub for drink. Annoying you can't take children though as they do do children's menus and they look pretty good.

Ellie, can you tell me anything about the TNS report on these meals, and how complicated it is? Do you have to do timings down to the second like certain places insist on?

Questions were OK. Usual ones like what's left and right, what exactly you ordered and how much you spent, who served you, was the place clean and tidy, check the loos, lots of yes and no answers. They have to serve you within a certain time but you don't have to time them down to the second. Not too complicated. I found it better than the RE ones that's for sure.

So you have 2 jobs with diff scenarios at the same shop on the same date too??
I have 2 booked for a PC shop and am hoping that I can get the sales consultation to stretch across both jobs as they are essentially about the same 'item' so hoping they won't query it :T

I have accepted 2 computer jobs on GAP for the same shop on the same day (diff scenarios), it has let me do this, it doesn't say in the rules anything about how many shops you can do etc
Has anyone else done this (I really didn't think it would let me have it so I thought I would test it out LOL

I managed to get 2 for the computer shop accepted, one a week after the other, but then a few days later one of them was cancelled, so keep an eye on the "My assignments" before you do them.
  • Ok I will keep an eye out as they are due on 31 aug, thanks for the warning. They do fit well together tho ;)

Yup! Be handy as long as one of them doesn't disappear beforehand but worth a shot. Mine are for this weekend so I'll find out soon enough :)

  • Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone can help me really. I'm trying to earn a few extre pennies and I would like to try mystery shopping. I'm employed full time but am on maternity leave at the minute. Can I do mystery shopping whilst I'm on maternity leave or will it affect my maternity pay? Or will the tax man get all my pennies?

    Thanks

(I'm not even sure if I'm posting this correctly???)
  • Hi, I am on mat leave and Ellie here is just about to be too! If you read the last few pages of this thread someone has posted a definitive post about this and explains it much easier than I could ;)
You will need to register as self employed (see post 1 on the first page for more info too!)
Have a look at these and if you have more qu's please ask and we will try and help :)

  • Hi and welcome. I work full time (ish) and my mat leave starts on Sept 4 - I'm currently on hols for a few weeks before my leave starts. As pl said if you check back about a page or two ago we discussed this then. I'm taking it that as I'm claiming SMP through my employer and not MA that I'll be OK. Any concerns I'd just give the Inland Revenue a quick call - there pretty good. You def need to register for tax though and I was told I'd need to fill in a CF10 form from the IR website to register for small earnings for national insurance (unless you plan of making more than £4,000 by MSing alone).
