It's a one off screening - you might be ok with the pizza jobs - because they just ask did you work for them etc. and no questions about being a veggie as far as I can remember.
Other than TNS I find they have the easiest selection procedure and at least you can see all jobs unlike GR & GfK where you're restricted to a couple or 3 areas and you can't look to where you might be travelling. But, hey all the more for us, so I don't have a problem if you don't want to do them, really!
Haha! It might be worth my while if I worked in town, but it's daft making a 6 mile trip to town just to earn a fee of £3-£4, and would take at least an hour out of my day.
I did the pizza test a few weeks back and passed all that ok - but I was too scared to take the job because of the stopwatch issue!0 -
does your mobile have a lap timer on it?0

I use my Dad's digital watch with the seconds on it which is allowed and I keep glancing at it at the relevant times and remember the seconds until I sit down and make a "discreet" note of them (someone mentioned taking a Sudoku book or something with you). I usually take some bills or something and make it look like I'm sorting my accounts out - makes asking for a receipt a little bit more beleivable. I'm sorry but how the hell are you supposed to do this discreetly I'll never know. I try my best but come on....... Hence why I don't do many burger jobs as their really not worth the hassle.0

I doubt it - I'm a real Luddite. I'd had the phone over a year before someone showed me how to send text messages! Even now I don't know how to take pictures with it - although my kids can take pics no trouble at all!
At the moment I don't even have a working watch of my own (need a battery!). The last couple of jobs I've been on I've borrowed my son's watch - which is analogue but the jobs haven't required timing to the second, so that was ok.0 -

I wondered that last week - was horrified to see them on RE as I knew that would be the last time I worked on those jobs!
don't you like RE Timmne? Can I ask why? I've found them to be pretty reliable, and pay on time, but I've only been with them for about 6 weeks.
I noticed the railway jobs change from GFK to RE, and just assumed that both companies did them, does this mean that GFK no longer do them then?
TIA

Oh dear god - what am I like - I think it's time I went to bed. I wouldn't mind but I remember the post stating if we were male/female. I need to sleep and maybe my brain will be less fuzzy then.
L-T-D - I'm soooo sorry x0 -

At the risk of sounding like I don't take MS'ing seriously, dare I suggest you just make a best guess concerning the seconds bit...? Not that I'd ever do that myself you understand, but is there really a huge difference between 7 mins 12 secs and 7 mins 22 secs?
I know burgers are different and I don't do those myself, but in terms of pizza and stamps, you're prob ok....
right I've gotta go - I've posted far too much on here and am bumping the post count up too much for everyone to keep up with! See ya!0 -

Ok, a little off topic, but a bit of an update on the 'bad day for MS'ers' - so I finally get to my hotel, and of course the car park is full. So I wedge myself into a spot that is probably only big enough for a pram, since there's nothing but dual carriageway around here, and hope no-one actually wants to open their doors in the cars next to me in the morning...
I come to check in, and of course there's a problem - I turned up after 8pm, which I didn't expect to do, so they have to juggle my room around. Er, why?! Then I get to my room, which is up 2 flights of stairs, and I have my case, handbag and big business case with my laptops in. The hotel stinks of bleech, I get in my room, drop the key just in front of the door like always, then sort of trip over, lose my footing, stand on the key, and snap it off the big plastic key ring.
The room is freezing as the doors shut, so I go to shut the window, and as I touch it the nets fall down, rod and all!!
Seriously, what is wrong with today?!!
