I have no idea how much clients pay MS companies but OC and RE cater for completely different ranges of clients. I guess I prefer not to know as it would just make me feel worse about the pay I get!

Truthfully, though, I am grateful to the MS companies I work for. Before I started Mystery Shopping I had not worked for 12 years and what other job could I do without having to attend a dreaded interview? I am aged 57 and with a fair degree of disability.

I like the freedom of working for myself and select the jobs I want to do and, often, when I want to do them. For instance, I often have migraines (sometimes 2-3 per week) and could not work today but the Optimum Contact job I still have left to do this month can wait! What employer would employ someone like me?
  • Grrrr I am not being paid for my pizza as I ordered the wrong crust  thats it, definately no more pizzas ever, DH was not impressed that he had to order what was on the list anyway so I am not going to bother!!

Was that the fast food chain pizza a la Gap or the one you take all the pictures of. By the time you get the pizza all set up for the pics it is starting to get cold.

Yes Paul. It is a godsend for people like you. I too like the freedom of doing jobs by a due by date rather than making you pick a definite do ON date.

I have done a few optical visits lately and today have a genuine eye test appointment. I will have to try and remember it is genuine and not a MS and not clock names, timings etc.

Took DH and DD to my pizza job and he wasn't happy with having what was on the list either - until I told him it was free food so put a sock in it!! DD was happy to have pizza anyway - you'd think we never went out lol. I'm still waiting for the next round of pizza places to come out as it is not far from where we live and not a bad place to spend an hour in the afternoon.

Well, on a disgruntled note, i'm rather disappointed to only see burger jobs on Gap. No sign of chicken or pizza ones in my area. Can't imagine that someone has swiped them all because the email i got from Gap mentioned burgers, chicken and pizza - although only burgers in the main body of the email. Does that even make sense??

I must be one of the lucky ones where they're concerned i guess. They've never phoned me with queries, never witheld payment, and even asked me to do a short notice burger job, and gave me two petrol jobs to cover the cost of the petrol i would use. (As it was, we used my dh's company car, so didn't have to put petrol in anyway). :D

I think (tell me if I'm wrong ;)) that Hollypear meant the pizza deliver with FF (is that right HP?). You have to take a zillion photos, including cut up slices and upside down slices!!!!). No good if you like your pizza warm :rotfl::rotfl:

Really sorry you didn't get paid for your GapPizza :(
