I tried everything too to encourage the them out - but they were determined!
But despite lateness both were quick and natural (no drugs) - five hours for the first and 1hr 30 for the second - midwife said I just cook babies for longer and that if I have a third they wouldn't bother booking me in for an induction until I was well over two weeks late!
You've got to be kidding me!!! My first was 28 hours long and I felt every minute of it lol. She was born in a Birth Centre mind and not a hospital so as natural as possible for me too. Hopefully this one will be a lot, lot, lot quicker and I'm hoping for natural again. Hmm wonder if birth centres get MSed as well? Now there's a thought - I could kill two birds with one stone :rotfl:0 -

Neither do I. I went on last week and picked one, and the others all went. Logged on again the next day, and another 3 were there. Took 1, the other, and then the other too. I'm a happy bunny. That's 4 lunches for me (they ask you to buy a coffee/bottle of water, but the reimbursement is £3, so you might as well buy something else with it). Plus I had already picked another visit at the train station a week before that. Got a RM visit to do which pays my train fare. And I got a gym visit for RE too. Go me. Go me. Go me.0 -

Thankfully I've not put on a lot of weight but if a pizza job comes up - who cares - I'll just jog around the close with the baby in the buggy - or if I'm lucky I'll find a gym job!! I keep refreshing GAP's pages to see if anything loads up but nothing yet. Checked my e-mails and they were listed at around 9.00pm last month so will keep trying!!0 -

She sure is a lucky mare:D, Ellie. My first was 29 hours - been at it for ages, was tired and got nowhere so the home birth turned into hospital, drip, epidural. Anyhow I'll say no more cos the boys won't like it and it's not really the thread for it!
Second was 10 hours - only gas and air - and third was 6 hours with no pain relief whatsoever - yipeeee! I was so proud!Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

If GAP pay on the 24th and the 24th is a Sunday this month with the 25th being a bank holiday - does that mean payment should be made on Friday 23rd? Any ideas? Nothing coming up on GAP for me yet apart from a burger job I can't do as I'm doing one for the same place the week before.0

Ugh, ever have one of those days where you wish you could just start again?!
Had a good start last night, when picked up 3 September jobs from Gap. Plan for today - leave the office at lunchtime, to head down South to a hotel. Tonight go and do a Gap job at a nearby outlet. Tomorrow, meeting near hotel first thing, then head back up motorway, and do a job for BARE just off the motorway. Oh so well planned, with hours built in to spare....
Nope, course it couldn't work that easy - TomTom wouldn't work, at all, not even for a second, so had to stumble down here with the help of a map - a skill I'm out of practice at! Torrential rain all the way, and really dull and bad visibility - nasty driving weather. Got a puncture, so stopped at Watford Gap, no problem, AA guy helped me change wheel. Set off again, but a few miles north of Newport Pagnell services, my (new, spacesaver) tyre blew!! I know they didn't last long, but he'd assured me it'd get me down here.
So cue 2 hours sat by the motorway, waiting for a tow. Towed to Newport Pagnell services, to wait for a courtesty car. Aarrghhh! Had to message Gap and apologise that I won't be able to make this evenings assignment, and cancel it. And that's going to show against me, despite there being nothing I can do! Hurrumph.
Okay, feel better now... Fingers crossed for a better tomorrow!!Debt at 'ephiphany': £13,500 (March 1st)

That's really awful. We all get days like that. Never mind usually a good day is just round the next corner. And I don't see how GYP could hold that against you. You did your best and let them know.
I love how some of the MS'ing companies though have such double standards.
Our spelling etc has to be perfect yet they have spelling mistakes on briefing notes and whopping grammar errors. We have to keep bang on time yet they have delays for no reason in paying us. Or they make an error and say it will be made up at the next pay date.Clique member no 1.:D0
