I have been with all mystery shopping companies, have been a mystery shopper for over 3 years and the only ones I work with now are TNS and Retail Eyes. I do not use gap anymore because I was outraged that they "spotted" me for a burger job which was complete bull - the only reason I was spotted was because I gave a negative report. They must have gone through the CCTV. Anyway gap don't pay what I require whereas TNS and RE do and I earn quite a bit from them each month.

Remember, newbies, in this Up Your Income forum, we have an alerts thread for mystery shopping, where eagle eyed MSE'rs share what they find, eg if I log into RE and find some pub jobs, I'll post on that thread to let everyone else know they're available. HTH.0

Does anyone know what the restaurant job with the hefty spending limit was?0
-
Fitzal, I've just PM'd you. :-)0

Nope. But we can't really name names on here or discuss exact fees/spending limits anyway.0

I know, I was just asking for a hint, or a pm (thanks MsShopper).0

I'm a bit worried, I went to do a hairdressing job at lunchtime, but was told they couldn't fit me in, so I'll have to go back after work, I'm now worried about how I report this, as it is a place where you don't get an appointment, and are just supposed to walk in. Plus, I'm now a bit worried as there is no amount for purchase, although i have to get a cut & blow-dry, and the fee in no way meets the cost, it's for RM, do you think I'll be ok?0

Is anyone going to the audit training in Leeds on Monday for RE? It should be a strange one I think...
No but I did it in another location in June and it was ok.
There's an icebreaks and then yhey tell you about RE and the job. There's a couple of exercises to do too - nothing complicated so don't worry!
I got half a dozen audit jobs just after the training which were passed fine, and then I've had nothing sinceHere I go again on my own....0 -

They're handy if you need stuff, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do one.
Did some at the end of August, and the bairns got trainers reduced to £15 a pair, and the youngest got a fleece jacket reduced to £8 and I let him get a ball to make the spend up! It was stuff they needed for going back to school anyway, so I was happy with that! Here I go again on my own....0
