Hmm thats useful to know as GR haven't paid me for the one and only job I did for them on 6th of this month. Are GR normally reliable with payments as i have only completed one previously for them.

I did a job on 4th Sept and they paid on 19th (at least it shows on their website at 19th - it took a few more days to actually reach my bank). Have you checked your completed assignments on the website to see if they have paid yet?

Just got an e-mail from RE about report on the card shop. Tried to ring but office was closed. Is this normal as I have not had a query before?

Thanks Princess Leia. I just looked at the first page of Field Team Information, which does list some areas but they are all down south. Probably not worth me even bothering then!

If you apply, you'll probably go on a waiting list until someone leaves the company and a vacancy in your area comes up. That's what happened when I joined. They keep a small team so you get a better chance of getting some work, rather than companies who have hundereds more workers than they do jobs!

They have a quite complicated scoring system with people put into groups. The top dogs get first pick of the work, then the left overs get filtered down through the other groups. Therefore when work alerts are posted on here, you still might not be able to see it if you are in a different group.

They do have a little mystery shopping work, but the majority tends to be merchandising and auditing jobs.
Here I go again on my own....

Don't worry. It's probably just something simple that's not quite clear in the report, and a quick call will sort it.

I think the cut off for them this month was the 5th, as a job I entered on the 5th hasn't been paid yet, but ones on 1st/2nd have
  • I think I may have been cut off by a company I had just started working for- I don't want to name them but they mainly do auditing/merchandising visits to supermarkets. I had been getting on ok but then there was an assignment a couple of weekends ago that was quite strange- if you did it you would remember it;) . Sorry to be mysterious but...they are particularly keen to maintain their reputation for integrity I think.
Anyway, I wrote them an email saying I thought it was underpaid for the work involved, and also it was all a bit of a muddle- maybe I'd had a glass of wine at the time:o - and I haven't heard from them since. So I was wondering if things had just gone quiet or if I had been cut off. If anyone understands my message, maybe you could let me know if you've had work offered from them since that slightly odd job 2 weekends ago??? Otherwise I will just have to wait and see..
PS someone has pmed me so I have at least some hope that I may be ok with them...

    Its showing as pending still.
I gave the office a call (didn't think they'd be open at gone 6:30 - but they were!) and I was told that there had probably been a query on it. I told the guy that no one had contacted me and I was then told that it looked like it had been sorted and would be paid on 1st Oct?!?! Very strange!!!

Still at least its being paid!

    thanks alot
  • LOL - you've seen it too then!! :rotfl:

    *MOS obliges*
"Oh, what do I do with xyz if I come off my benefits?"
*MOS replies & starts to turn away with a polite nod*
"OK, so what if my estranged aunt needs her pension collected?"
*MOS sighs, fashions together an answer and says goodbye*
"Whilst I'm here, what should I do if my cat needs her car retaxed?"
*MOS pauses then briefly says a few words and catagorically says goodbye*
Optional question: "Do you know I'm a MSer, or do you just think I'm an oddball?"
  • Hi Leila, is there a way to find out if I've been blocked from seeing jobs?
    TIA :)

Right now, they still have a bit for each client that is 19 + coffee in total with one petrol not showing yet.
It happened in the past when someone had mistakingly gave a wrong answer for one of the stamps qualification questions and these just disappeared of their page but this was rectified for them.
Sometimes, they also remove some clients of lists when the shopper has done the only branch in town too many times and the feedback is either no longer useful or they have been spotted.
