  • Been paid by Grassroots, Gap and GfK

    Happy Days. :D
  • I've got nothing from Gap. I only did one job for them in August, and to be fair they emailed me a few days ago to say they didn't have my bank details. Do you think they will do another payment run at the very end of this month, or will I have to wait til next month?

Also, please can I ask a question of the experts on here? It is of no significance whatsoever, I'm just curious. I noticed a certain MS company had a number of jobs listed in my area, which were listed for days. I didn't bother because I thought it was a LOT of work for the fee, and I suspect others thought the same. Now the whole lot vanished last night - I think that suggests they were pulled rather than they were taken by someone else - I don't think they would all be taken in one fell swoop, given the distances etc. So, if they were pulled, my theory is that the MS company have realised no-one wants to do them. What happens next? Will they list them again with an easier scenario or a better fee, or do they just not do them at all?

My guess is that they pulled them so they could 'phone around. This is what GAP do and I believe GFK too - it enables them to call people without risking the jobs being taken when they're on the phone....
  • Thanks Timmne. Hope they don't phone me! Unless they are prepared to up the fee, that is!

Hi! I have a couple of questions. I did read the first post but I cant go through the 100s of posts to see if the answer is there.

    - I have a full time job.. would i be able to do this outside of hours?
    - as this is what i was after, is there any specific places that do food/clothing that i would be able to go to at the weekends/late night/after hours?

    thanks for your time!

    Hi and welcome.

Doing MS work and working full time is not a problem - quite a few of us do it. A lot of the jobs you can to in the evening or on weekends. If you work in a main city you can also do oyur MS jobs in your lunchtime or before/after work.

If your looking for food jobs depending on what type of food your after GAP to gurger and chicken jobs, TNS do pub jobs, GR and TNS do supermarket jobs. Clothes wise ABAi I know do clothes jobs. If I think of anymore I'll let you know.

This has happened to me in the past and if memory serves it wont let you 'submit' the report at the end if there is a discrepancy. Is there much of a difference time wise - like seconds or hours?
