Come and visit me then Auntypog and do any that come up in my area as I sure as heck won't be doing anymore of their pub jobs after they refused for no good reason to pay me for the last one. Miserable sods expect you to take your significant other and they don;'t get a meal unless they pay it themselves and then they want a report on that meal too.
The ridiculous bit too about the drop down box on how busy the pub was. I chose the almost full box and they wanted a comment!!!Did they want me to go around and give ages and description of everyone in the place.
I just put ....SEE Question 100 I have already answered this question.
I've done one of those for Gap. Never again. I had to buy my companion's drink, my drink and my meal only on the receipt. It was a nightmare. I was hoping for a nice two course country gastro pub meal for two...Never mash cheese: it bends the fork.0 -

If so, what are they like to work for, how quickly do you get reimbursed?
Do you get many jobs? etc etc
Very many thanks in advance
I try nowandagain to sign up for mystery dining but they won't have me...Never mash cheese: it bends the fork.0 -
I see you're in Essex; I guess they probably have enough in the SE. Don't take it personally, auntypog.0

The comment after yes/no on MS reports is a double check that the information you give is accurate. It's so easy to click the wrong button when you are whizzing through a report, and you might accidentally give a negative for a positive thing or vice versa. Here I go again on my own....0

'whizzing through a report'???? sorry, just made me chuckle! It took me two solid hours last night to 'whiz' through a Gap report! Bloomin' computer was sooooooo slow and the screen kept jerking when it shouldn't! Was horrible! Wouldn't mind but it was one of those jobs where there is no fee and the reimbursement didn't cover the spend!0

Mimi wrote on the alert thread: I know this ain't chat, but RE have not put any other (pub) visits on almost all month. How strange.
I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps there has been a lull over the summer.0 -

So is the 250 word summary yet another double check in case you have ticked the wrong box then put the wrong comment. RE must think us very stupid.
I did 4 reports tonight for companies who pay far more than RE yet they didn't ask for comments on Y/N questions. I did one for instance with 3 short lists of Y/N with a very short 20 word summary after each.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
That's it with RE - I would be able to bear the hundreds of questions if it weren't for the catch-all summary at the end. It's like they're admitting they can't put their finger on the correct questions to be asking!0

RE - 17 questions just to accept an assignement.

I've been a proof reader for MS company before. You'd be amazed at the rubbish that gets submitted as a report.
Reports full of spelling mistakes, no capital letters or punctuation, poor sentence construction or writing things in note form or text speak. There were often contradictions too - like saying in the till section, I wasn't greeted at the till, then writing in the summary "I approached the till and Hollypear said hi."
Often the form you type on screen is sent direct to the client so it needs to look professional. If there are bad comments on a report, a manager will really pick at it to find a reason to make it invalid so they don't suffer. If they find inconsistancies such as the example above, they will reject the report and it will have been wasted and you may not get paid.
I know it seems like a chore filling it all in, but if that is what the client requires, then that is what you have to do. All the work is optional, so if people find it's not for them, they don't have to do it. There's a few companies I don't work for as I don't like their reporting etc. Here I go again on my own....0
