Why wait till you're 25? I'm 18 and flew with BARE to Brussels back in May...

Hmmm... how did you get that?! I tried the other week and it said I wasn't 25 and couldn't do it.

Wonder if it's a long haul thing?
  • I have also got an audit with Assosia next week. This is my very first Audit/MS. Can anybody offer any tips.

Just a quick question for the sandwich shops on RE now.

I thought with the advertising they do that it was a standard price, but the spend limit is higher than the cost of the required purchase. Normally I'd include the extras I bought when putting in my reimbursement claim, but it says if I upgraded to certain options that I wouldn't be reimbursed for that.

I'm curious to know whether they have varying prices from one location to another, or whether they're just saying you can claim for the extras but you won't be reimbursed the full amount if you go above the spend limit.

Hi. I live in the back of beyond and the last one I got cost £1.99 and that was all I got and that is all I got paid. Think they cost more in central London.

I noticed this yesterday. My sandwich was about £1 cheaper than the spending limit. I was wondering whether to claim the full fee or whether to claim for the cost of my sandwich. I ended up claiming for just the sandwich but would like to know what everyone else does.

    Put in your times.

The clocks on tills etc are very rarely correct.

I agree - your timings (so long as you are sure your watch is correct) - the shop can check back and see that their till time is out. This happens a lot when the clocks go forward/back!!!

I would love to do one of the flight ones but I am petrified of flying. Just need to pluck up enough courage to do one and then I will be fine. It's so scary though. LOL. I tend to get high scores for my other reports, and when they get desperate for high scoring people to do flights they do call you. I have had a few calls, but I've always said no. *** As for the flights, they expect you to do a short haul flight first, so they know you don't mess up the report, before they allow you to do one of the long haul ones.

How do the flight ones work then?

I assume from above it's no fee but the flight is paid for. How long are you then able to spend at the destination before you have to fly back? Do they get you to cover the return flight as well (it would make sense to get twice the feedback for the same cost to them)

    For BARE flights:
I assume from above it's no fee
    Yes, NO FEE

but the flight is paid for.
YES but you can lose in the exchange rate so all your expenses are not covered.

How long are you then able to spend at the destination before you have to fly back?

Short haul 7 days, long haul 14

Do they get you to cover the return flight as well (it would make sense to get twice the feedback for the same cost to them)
    YES

Only worth doing if you want to actually go to the destination.

    Restrictions
They have lowered the standard, must be getting desparate

    * Your Shopper Rating must be at least 5 Used to be 8

Personally speaking, if there is an allowance of £10, I'd rather spend £10.50 and claim a tenner back, than spend just £7.00 and claim the seven back.
I would never try to claim £10 for spending £7.00, as this is more likely to get their backs up.
