Just went for a RE meal for two people where we had to both order 3 courses. All was ok, but have just discovered they didnt charge us for 1 of the desserts! I really hope this doesn't mean I "fail" the requirements! I can't afford to actually have to pay for it myself!

Seems to me that's exactly the sort of thing Head Office would want to learn from a mystery shop - that the staff are under-charging! I'd fill out the report as normal and log that they haven't billed you correctly.
  • scaredy cat - re the bank jobs - I recently did 4 of these and I think that you are playing a role and only have to tell them that you have an account already - you just basically need to be someone who is eligible for a regular account to enable staff to be able to offer you the products that you are assessing whether or not they offer you (if that makes sense) and not one of those people who only qualify for a sub-prime type account.
I've noticed you seem really worried about all this - I hope in time you relax a little!

ps fitzal - just noticed we weren't charged for either dessert:confused:didn't notice at the time cos the bill was fairly high - but it does say '1 go ahead £0.00' on the receipt - maybe they are doing a promotion? I've already entered my results, teacher's pet that I am, so I didn't alert them to it...

  • ooh also wanted to add that I've done 15 mses this week and am all shopped out. I'm taking next week off to get ready for my exam. I really feel a bit bored with it at the moment.
But having started off hating gap, I am now loving the simplicity of their reports!!! No comments and no stupid questions either! Gutted though about the Eire v Georgia match had put £3 on an Ireland 2-0 victory so what was that all about in the extra time? grrrrr:mad:
Gave up and startd planning your Guiness-necking session were ye fellas? You fe***ng eejits owe me £20!

Ooh I'm jealous now - had the 3 course meal and we paid for it all - no free desserts for us - and it isn't cheap either is it! DH enjoyed his, mine was ok but it was nice in there. Hadn't been before so nice to try ;)

  • yeah I like it there too, Roxyk. Been on only 3 previous occasions though compared to Nandos (this company name is not mentioned in relation to a mystery shop!) where I've been countless times so lovely to get a change

Can anyone remind me when Assossia pay pls? I'm thinking back to those juice visits in Aug and was hoping to have been paid at the end of the month? cheers.
  • Josie I'm not sure, but I thought it was dependant on them checking your work rather than waiting for a specific pay date? I could be totally wrong - only done 4 jobs for them...

Hi Josie - hope you enjoyed your hols!

I was paid last week by Assosia for those jobs - I can't remember when they sent the invoice to fill in, though I know I didn't wait very long after that for the money to be paid.
    ;)
