Hello Peeps,
Back from the Big Apple and isn't it flipping freezing and wet - yuck!
Just caught up on all the pages generated whilst I was away.
Anyway in response to this, I do mystery shopping as a little top up for holiday spends and the like - can't really say I have to do it as usually manage to squeeze in 4 trips abroad a year (DINKYS) - but every little helps! Also everyone on here is so friendly that I like our little community - ahhh!
Ooh, also about 4 pages back Moi asked about Everards - the reports are very easy and you can buy what you want and go any time / day before their deadline. I've only done one and my voucher hadn't arrived after a couple of months and I emailed them twice about it with no response, then finally it turned up "signed for". HTH

Hiya been busy with work so not been on here as often as I'd like and hello to all the newbies too, hope your visits have been going well.
Can anyone help me? I want to reschedule a job I have with gfk - well more of a rejiggle really. I've got 2 visits booked tomorrow afternoon but now I'm going out tomorrow evening and they want same day reports.
So was thinking if I can switch one of those afternoon jobs for a lunchtime job instead that'll sort out my timings. But dya think I'm going to incur the wrath of gfk and be offered less jobs in the future if I do that. Any opinions/advice warmly welcomed.taking positive steps, to reduce all my debts:think: :lovethoug:idea: :T :cool2:______________________________0 -

If you can reschedule it for one of the days they have listed in the options then I don't think there will be any problems at all. If you need a completely different date then just email them and ask - I have always found them really good. In fact, they had a job available to be done by today - I emailed and said I wanted to do it but couldn't get to the town in question until Monday - and they changed the date for me! I've always found them really helpful.0 -
Thanks ScaredyC.
I've got 4 visits tomorrow but think will reschedule 2 for sunday. Havent done the phones in the singular person or the train visits before so here's hoping the reports dont take too long.
I know these companies want you to write the reports while they're still fresh in the mind but surely 24 hours doesnt make that much difference and allows a bit more breathing space than submitting on the same day or within 8 hours of the visit.taking positive steps, to reduce all my debts:think: :lovethoug:idea: :T :cool2:______________________________0 -

I have a nasty feeling someone (a few pages back on this thread) complained that GfK had automatically de-allocated the job because they had not been able to submit the report the same day due to computer problems. Might just be worth checking that to be on the safe side. On the plus side, though, the Gfk reports don't usually take too long to do.0 -
Gfk is down for me, anyone else?0

O dear! I'll definitely submit in the allocated timeframe but I just wish the Mys Shp co's could be a bit more realistic with their timeframes.
Happy weekend to ya, its been a tough few days so I'm off for an early night.

Hi happy shoppers!!
I have just had a nightmare with my first GFK job. Yesterday I did a phone shop, I started to enter my results yesterday evening but every time I pressed the 'next' button it kept taking me back to the log in page, so I would go back to entering my results only to find that they had not been saved so I would have to redo them again. This when on for several hours and by mid night I had had enough and desided to try again this morning and email them to explain what was happening. Well I managed to complete my results only to find when I submitted them that it had been deallocated arhhhhh!!!!!
I have let them know what had happened but I feel that as this was my first job with them then this has left a bad impression of me. I dont want them to think that I am unreliable.
Sorry for going on
Peridot.
This is the comment I was thinking of where GfK had deallocated a job. I don't know what the final outcome was, whether Peridot managed to sort it out with them.0 -
