The Mystery Shopping thread - part 5

Heeeeelp!
I've joined another MSing company and have just been assigned an audit for a local cinema to do this evening.
Printed out 18 pages of questions cos there was one question per page! (Hmm, just looked at all the stuff i've printed off and now i really confused and not sure i need it now - looks as though it's a form i have to use to input my results - anyone know?)
But, can i ask - Do i have have to call the cinema to fnd out what time the films are showing? Do i have to stay and watch the film or can i leave after i've seen the trailers, ads etc? Do i have to ask to see the duty manager, or just approach a random member of staff?
Can't think of anything else i need to know right now. TIA for any help you can give though...:)0 -
I've entered the results from my mystery shop, but the receipt time is incorrect, their till was obviously about 9 minutes slow. So it won't let me submit the shop as it says the receipt time is before the shop times I've submitted - which are correct. I've submitted an enquiry - do I just need to sit and wait for them (GAP) to contact me? Owing to their website being down this morning I've only got 2 hours left of my 8 hours. It's my first job for them and one I took on when they phoned me last night as a last minute thing so it's just typical it's gone wrong :rolleyes:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Hi Yorkielass
I had the same thing happen on my first GAP job. What I did was amend the receipt time on the form to adjust for the shop times you entered (eg if your 'In' time was 2.10pm and your 'Out' time was 2.20pm, and the receipt time says 2.06pm (instead of 2.16pm), change the receipt time on the form to 2.16pm and put a note in the notes section that you've had to add 10 minutes to the receipt time in order to correlate with the shop times entered. This is what I did and they accepted it without any queries/follow-up. Hope that helps. :-)0 -
Thanks, I've done that as I can't waste anymore of my day on this. They've accepted the report and uploaded receipt and so I guess they can contact me if there's a problem. thanks again. YLHi Yorkielass

Hi everyone, not posted on thread before but just HAD to comment on RE's latest jobs.
I just checked out the new restaurant jobs and cannot understand why anyone would accept these?!
Two adults each having to order 3 courses plus coffee... reimbursement of £35... and no fee...?
Has anyone else noticed this and worked out how much this would cost the shopper? :rolleyes:0 -
Well, i'm sitting here constantly refreshing my RE screen, but nothing's happening...:(0

I think you may be too late, most of them went really quick!!!“A banker is the fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.” Mark Twain0 -

One of these has opened very near where I live and another near where I work very recently but I've got a job lined up for RE at the weekend and I'm a new shopper with them so can't see any other jobs  there's always next month though.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
