  • I did one of those, I would base it on the 2nd guy but there is a box at the end where you can add some comments if you like. I must have skipped the eye colour question too as I don't remember completing that earlier when I did report - oops ;)

I have done 4 shops today (changed another elec one to fri) and the elec one didn't try and close the sale at all, one phone shop was just downright rude (for once I am glad to be completing this on RE so I can really describe what happened) , the other phone shop nearly forced me to buy the phone, offering me £40 to do it today and they didn't want to take no for an answer!
My other one was a kitchen and went really well :)

Yep - asking for the eye colour is a bit steep !! But they do have some nonsense questions on some of the questionaire's.

Another question if I may for you more worldly wise folk on here. I added another MS company, Bare to my list (bringing the total to 4).

They seem to have some interesting looking assignments like flights and car dealerships - the only thing that puts me off a little is they seem to pay in Euro's as I think they are based in Europe.

Has anybody done any jobs for Bare - how does the Euro payment work and what are their questionaire's like ?

I must admit that doing the few assignments I've done so far does give you an insight into what companies expect from their stores - I do feel like a spy but enjoy it as I'm a bit of stickler for good customer service myself

Thanks. I'll do it on the second sales person then.

    Thanks in advance,
People on here have very mixed views on Bare, personally I joined them, took ages to find a job and it just sat there pending, they send out loads of emails asking you to do jobs but don't seem to allocate when you want them too, also you have to get a shopper rating to do lots of the jobs, so I gave up in the end and have signed myself off their books, sorry

  • I just did my first Gap electrical shop enquiry job. Goodness me - it was like pulling teeth! Had trouble finding a sales assistant and then he said he'd have to get someone else and left me alone for nearly five minutes!!!!

I must be Mrs Invisible - I must just look like I don't want help or I don't want to buy anything!

OK, two serious questions now - is there a way to put in that the first guy wasn't much help and then got me another assistant. Maybe it wasn't his department - I had to accost him as he walked by as I couldn't see anyone else. So, do I base the report on the second sales assistant?

And really, why do they need to know the sales assistant's eye colour???? Isn't that taking things just a tad too far?

Oh dear god tell me about it. I did mine on Sunday. He took me straight to the electrical item. I had to prompt him to start with and then ask him to write something down "so I could show my husband!!!" I know it was a Sunday but I felt like shouting "wake up" at him.

On a brighter note got paid by GAP and GFK today so xmas fund has increased a bit more :T

On the downside saw midwife and now have to take iron tablets as I'm finding it hard to breath (lack of iron apparently). She said there's pale and there's pasty - I'm bordering on pasty. However I do now have a prescription and there is an RE pharmacy job going across the road - but don't think I can be bothered with the damn questionnaire and I really do NOT need more hayfever tablets lol

    Hi

I have done a few for Bare, there was no problem with payment etc.

My only issue with them is the ridiculous bidding process, I have applied for several and don't hear anything, even from ones they have e-mailed me to apply for.

Because of this I have effectively stopped using them.

    Regards Paul

Sorry to hear you have to have iron tablets. I had the same problem when I was pregnant. Well, truth be told, I probably should be on iron all the time as I do get anaemic - but of course they monitor it more when you are pregnant. I remember the hospital taking me off the ones my Doctor had given me because they said they weren't strong enough! Horrible side effects, though!

I had pre-eclampsia, too - just for added fun! :rotfl:

Well, I've just completed the report and it didn't even ask me the assistant's eye colour!! But it was in the briefing notes, so I assumed it would be on the report! Could have saved myself an embarrassing time trying to sneak a look, if I'd known that! (Only realised after I'd left the shop so I had to go back and surreptitiously wander round trying to pass the same assistant!)

Secondly, it's still asking me to upload a receipt, even though the assignment said no purchase required. Any ideas what I do about this - it gives dire warnings about being struck off if I don't send in receipts!

I usually write in word: "No purchase required, hence no receipt" and then jpeg it, and upload that, at least you can complete the questionaire.
  • I thought you had to upload a copy of the quote? Thats what I did anyway ;)
