Just out of interest I clicked on the links provided by stevew8975 I'd say 2/3rds of them no longer exist or are not Auction sites anymore. Just goes to show the power and market penetration of the big two and what any new start-up is up against.

To be honest by the time we did one half the sites would have closed down.
Realistically though for general selling there is only ebay. For more unique items, books games etc then Amazon or Play.
