whats the best place to sell other than ebay?

I'm trying ebid.net, I'm just in the process of adding all my items and its really painless, and a lot faster than ebay, its seen it buyers/sellers go up dramatically recently, i'm backing it as the fav over ebay

Great answer. There definitely were other ways to sell items before Ebay was born. E-bid and Amazon are my top picks outside of Ebay, more Amazon that Ebid though. There are options out there, just have to keep looking!

I've been a Seller on eBid for over a year now. I took advantage of the Lifetime Seller+ in January this year and it paid for itself with my first few sales. I'm not a business seller but I've been doing pretty good - keeps me happy! There are loads of Business Sellers on eBid who appear to be doing very well.

Best advice I can give you is to have a nose around the site, look at the FAQ's and check out the forums. There's also plenty of help available there. If you didn't want to take the plunge with the Lifetime+ there are plenty of other options.

Just out of interest I clicked on the links provided by stevew8975 I'd say 2/3rds of them no longer exist or are not Auction sites anymore. Just goes to show the power and market penetration of the big two and what any new start-up is up against.
