£70 a day's what the panda will pay!

I love ironing when I don't have any wine in the house. Fortunately I have enough wine to keep me going for the year so ironing loses. The only person to make a comment was my m-i-l who said my son was looking a bit tatty in his school uniform - well I'm sure that's to do with him being a boy rather than the non-ironed look

She's been busy on Dooyoo!
And did you notice you won the Dooyoo first review draw, panda? Well done you, you lucky thing!0 -

I won a prize??? Wow! Thanks for the heads up Choca, I'll have to look into that!
Sorry I've been in hiding for a while. I set myself a challenge that I wouldn't come back on here until I'd done the Qype challenge, and got myself going on Dooyou because it's so much easier to sit around here and chat than to actually get myself moving and do something. Qype successfully completed (11th hour!) and I'm now up and running on Dooyou, although I'm still not 100% sure how it works. Choca/Hypno's advice very helpful though.
Shazzer, fab news on the job! What a huge relief. They can obviously spot talent when they see it!
Laura, thanks for the offer of the ironing. I would have taken you up on that, except that tonight I got a text from Eva (Polish ex-ironer - lovely girl) and she's back. That's a huge weight off my shoulders, as the ironing pile really is beyond belief now.
Budget update...ahem...moving on...
Ebay has been chaotic. I think I might have mentioned that a friend was going to start working with me - she has, and it's going really well. She's fab at taking photos and the listings are really good, so she's been getting about 6 items on a day. Several have sold already, so hopefully we're finally going to get rid of the Ebay mountain.
Mortgage gone down again - £907 now. But we're still totally skint. Driveway is now finished, so we can finally stop having to draw £350 out the bank every weekend to pay for it. It looks fab!
It's been snowing here today, so we went out for a walk with Adam in his sledge and Greg in his pushchair. Far too much like hard work! I'm feeling poorly, think it's the flu or tonsilitis (I've never been so ill as this winter) so went to bed for 4 hours when we got back and I'm at work now but only becase there's no flying this evening, or I'd have gone sick.
Must check out a few other diaries then go and sort out some Ebay. And find out what the dooyou prize was!0 -
Yay! I won 2,500 dooyoo miles, which I think is £2.50! There was no email notification or anything though, so I have no idea how I'd have known if Choca hadn't seen it and I looked up the competition pages. I can't find a breakdown of the points anywhere - am I missing something?0

Go to Community at the top of Dooyoo, scroll down to where it says January Competition: Winter Winners and click on it to see all the winners of the prize draw. Everyone who writes a first review of a product in the chosen category (like your toaster review) is entered and twenty people are drawn out of a hat to win 2500 Dooyoo miles (£2.50 - not a fortune but better than nothing!)0

No, I haven't been able to find a points breakdown either!0
