sorry to hear your sad news panda.
You've done great on the breastfeeding. Tom is too much the other way - likes my milk and not formula...and not keen on real food either - unless he can feed himself.0 -
Thanks all of you, it means a lot. I only ever met the guy a handful of times but it's awful watching all the family so upset. My mother-in-law was saying today that she's been crying all week because he spent so much time there as a kid and it's almost as if it was her grandchild. There's still nothing known about what happened. Strange and sad. He was just about to start university.
Not really a great deal going on round here. I've had a few days off work but done very little. Greg's now trying (failing) to stand up which is quite comical to watch. He's pretty fast on all fours now but gets stuck in the kitchen every time he tried to do a circuit as the floor is so slippy!
DH has just gone to collect an Indian, naughty-naughty, but I was supposed to be going out tonight but am not for various reasons, so the taxi money alone that I'm not spending on that will pay for the curry. Might even open a bottle of our £1.50 M&S wine!
Payday Monday (would insert jumping smiley here but they're all showing red crosses at the moment and I don't want to put a dodgy hug or Lindt bunny massacre in by mistake!)0 -
hope you enjoyed the curry!

Not a lot - working all weekend. I've just been assigned a top-secret highly confidential mystery shop which involves going to a supermarket tomorrow and checking stock of an item to see if any of it looks dodgy. How exciting - secret agent stuff, so that'll be on my break from work tomorrow, otherwise we're just bathroom-ing some more.
Curry was ok but I suffered for it this morning. Just VERY glad that I didn't have the night out as I really couldn't have faced the hangover! Three more shifts then DH and I are both off for a couple of weeks and off on our Sun hol to (near) the Lake District. Hope it isn't too freezing.0 -
Payday today!
Got the tax rebate thingy £120 (£60 each) and so used it to pay off the OH's Virgin card in full, £147. A couple of DDs have come out so we're another 4 squares down the grid today: £79,356.58 owed.
Been doing a few surveys this evening, £4 up so far. No mystery shops around here at all at the moment, really poor pickings. I got a couple of telephone numbers to ring for info about focus groups earlier from someone very kind on here, but Greg was whinging so I couldn't make the calls. No 1 priority for tomorrow!
In a blatant attempt to earn cash, does anyone want a referral for ItsYourView surveys? They're by far the highest payers I've come across and my account's up to £30 in just a couple of months. They pay roughly £1 per 5 mins (better than most that we all do). PM me if you want the referred link - they give £2 for referrals.
Going to update signature now. Tomorrow is the day most payments come out, also child benefit day so it's the day the coloured pencils wait all month for!0 -
