Threading is a way of removing hair that many Asian women use. It gives an incredibly neat line to eyebrows, much neater than waxing could ever achieve... it's more precise. They use twisted thread, move along your eyebrow pulling out hair between the threads. Waxing is good, plucking is slow, but threading is fast and excellent.... when done properly obviously!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Do all the beauty salons offer this now do you know - havent had mine done in ages - well didnt have any when i was on the chemo juice!! So it would be nice to try this out!

Hi Tooti... Poor you losing your eyebrows, just doesn't seem fair does it.
Lots more salons are doing threading now, I've noticed quite a few hairdressers advertising it. My friend was telling me that Selfridges have an eyebrow bar now! It does hurt... esp. the first time!!  But I think it's worth it. Also, it's worth mentioning, when I popped into to a beauty salon to ask if they do it, they were really snotty about it, and said it's a really bad way of having hair removed, they thought waxing was far superior.... hhhhhmmmmmm???? a case of sour grapes methinks, I've had it done for years, and love it. So if you find somewhere reputable go for it!!!

    Hi

I still haven't managed to catch up. My list for today is done, we've just got back from town. I took Ds2 to the big park and he loved it although he was nearly giving me a heart attack climbing too high.

I'm not very happy, the toddler group shed has been vandalised again. They've ripped every single piece of felt off the roof and smashed up the door, all the toys are ruined as they've all got wet. it makes me so cross this is the second time in a year. It's not as if they would have thought there was anything worth stealing in there. I live in a little village and everyone knows what the shed is used for.

So yesterday was spent over there waiting for the police, i can't start cleaning up properly until the insurance people have been. I thought i'd have 6 weeks of no worrying about the place.

Hope everyone is ok i'll try and catch up now.

It's on Living at 3.00pm everyday at the moment. They're also showing Series 3 at 10.00pm on a Tuesday I think it is. Not 100% sure on that cos I keep missing it.
