Well I'm going to load the parcels into the car ready for later. Hoover through downstairs and that'll do I think.

Do they look really odd then? I had a friend once taht used to try and pluck her eyebrows. She was always so rubbish at it. Always ended up with that surprised look:rotfl:

They just weren't even. I decided that .... no, I'm not going to have a row about it, :A I've got too much to do to go back to town... so I tidied them up myself, and they look great now!!! :D No surprised look at all. :p

I just won't bother going back there again. it is irritating, because I hate paying for anything that doesn't do what it's s'posed to do. ;)

Well, optician done. He reckons I need THREE pairs of glasses (one for distance, one for intermediate/vdu stuff and one for reading) and suggested varifocals. I told him to bog off. I'm not OLD enough for varifocals! I said I would settle for two - distance (imperative if I'm to drive safely) and intermediate for work. I have no problems reading. I think it's wrong that they diagnose your reading lenses on the tiniest possible typeface that one rarely sees in books anyway!

Looked at their frames and then just walked out and went into town. Finally found an optician who had frames I like so have ordered the distance pair through them. I'm having a long think about the intermediate pair.

Popped into Tesco to pick up a bottle of wine (for me) and a card for nice neighbour (it's her birthday today). As I only had the two items, I noticed the cashier seemed to ring the card through twice but, I naughtily didn't say anything until she presented me with the receipt.

So, then it was off to customer service for a double your money back :D The card, consequently, was free so I used the double your money (£3.36) to buy nice neighbour an extra little silly present.

Right, I have the urge to Dyson (shock  horror ) so I shall do my matress before the bedding gets put back on it and even root around under the bed and dyson up the dog hairs from under there that I've been ignoring for ages.

    Aww TAG, thats a bummer..
I've been seriously thinking about getting a job, but our life is set up for me to not work, so I'm not sure I'd manage it.
And actually...I don't want to work..I'd quite like to get paid, though...

I'm the money manager in our house too. DH not very good with money, but then I've kinda allowed us to get into this position too!
Oh well, at least I can make overpayments on the loans, so I'll just have to crack on with it!!

I'd love not to have to work. More so I think since I have learnt so much from this website. Like making your own bread, cooking from scratch, growing your owmn veggies etc.

Having said that though I still need to have a reason to go out IYSWIM otherwise I'd end up a hermit. I do enjoy my job. Only 3 mornings a week, but at least I earn something and see other human beings.;)

I do that in Asda soappie. In fact from next year I'm gonna see how much I can make in a year from their mistakes. Quite a bit I reckon as there's usually a mistake a week on the till receipt.

What do threaded eyebrows look like???

Threading is a way of removing hair that many Asian women use. It gives an incredibly neat line to eyebrows, much neater than waxing could ever achieve... it's more precise. They use twisted thread, move along your eyebrow pulling out hair between the threads. Waxing is good, plucking is slow, but threading is fast and excellent.... when done properly obviously!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
