  • serena sounds like the disppointment has been handled well.

foreversomeday, I remember so well being tearful when I was first pregnant. (got 3 now) Cried at all kinds of stuff, some of it not that poignant, at least your tears are for things that are sad!

tiamaid - well done where is the sandwich shop? How exciting!

snowyowl - I've been paying my 6 year old 2 pence to help me hang up socks and knickers! She's been delighted but it's slave labour really!

Tag - that is so funny 'your kitchen is sparkling' and

pigpen - this washing appearing after you've put it on is going too far! My 12 year old fashion queeen already does my head in with the amount of stuff she wears then chucks around - dreading her being a proper teenager. And how do you do it with all those kids? You must be constantly washing and putting away! I have nothing but admiration for you!

Anyway these diversion activities are naughty! I've got a case study to write and it won't get done by itself!
Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0
MutualPoints 2898 STP £20.50 Tesco clubcard points £950 for summer 09!

:hello:Hi Rebekah, I posted a bit to you some pages back. I hope that you are feeling better today! I won't repeat it all, I expect you'll find it when you have time!

foreversomeday - I'm still an NCT member and DS1 is 18! I'm also still in touch with NCT mums I met through Open Houses, drop-ins etc. Do keep in touch with them. I remember vividly sobbing my heart out over pictures of very premature babies, and it was also the year that a baby was taken from a maternity unit (and later found safe and well) and that made me cry loads as well - guess it's those pesky hormones again!

pigpen - yes, you may cry. But only after you've taught her how to use the washing machine.

Tia - fabulously well done!! Many congratulations!

Congratulations Tia and good luck with all of the industrial flying!

Sorry that DS1 didn't get the results he was hoping for serena. I had the same problem when I got my A level results (had been suffering from depression for the second year of 6th form and had my first serious boyfriend who broke up with me, so results weren't great). I retook one module and that improved one of my A levels by a whole grade, and retook both the AS and A2 of another one of my subjects in a year at college. It must have been hard for him when all the news etc is of good results. That was one of the hardest parts for me - dealing with all of my friends who all did so well, but my new results made it worth it all.
