What a day! I am so ready for bed.
Ended up spending the day at the budget office. Two clients didn't turn up for their arranged meetings. Apparently that happens quite often! I did manage to meet up with one of them at her place at lunch time though. Also got another new client . . . haven't had a chance to look at her details yet, but will in the morning.
Here is what I have left to do:
Monday Minging & Flinging- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
sweep and mop and deslop the floors in these rooms.
Tuesday Triumphs - Kitchen and Dining Room
Sweep and mop floors
clean the fridge.. it is smelly
Wednesday Thllliiing!- Master Bedroom & Landing
Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
Air the duvet
Vacuum floors
Clean all the upstairs door frames
Clean windows in these rooms
Thursday twirls- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Vacuum floors and sofas
Level 2
clean the windows
Level 3
Wipe and water plants
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
- HHI
- Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
Make sure laundry is up to date (altho it's pouring down atm)
Make a couple of phone calls re budgetting
Write some letters for the new client
Clean off the last two shelves in the pantry that haven't been done
Also want to hit the shops tomorrow - sales are on and I'd like to buy some Christmas pressies.
Can't see it all getting done, but I will at least weed out the really important things and check them off.

Hi everyone I am a newbie and haven't had a chance to get into the Flylady thing yet but am making a start in thinking how it could be applied to working full time (and also self-employed some evenings and weekends).
I am reading the book 'Home Comforts' which is very good and it has me thinking more about my linen and to have good quality rather than lots of lower quality items.
Can anyone recommend a good company to buy from online? In Summer we like cotton and winter we like flanelette. Right now I'd be keen to get some cotton at a lower cost, ready for next spring/summer if possible but I want it to be good quality?MFW #185

:grouphug: juliejim. One day you will laugh about!!;)
You know when you start doing something, get a bit carried away and then stand back and think......:rolleyes:really wish I hadn't done that:rolleyes: That's me, right now!!
So I've decided the solution is to have a shower, get dressed, go to Asda and buy something scrummy for lunch:D Which will probably involve cake of the chocolate variety:o
Sun's still out here. Bet it disappears as soon as I put a load of washing on:rolleyes:0 -

Afternoon all
One load of washing done which was hanging outside. It started off really sunny for a few hours but then it absolutely poured down. Luckily I managed to grab the washing in and most of it was dry. That has been put away and a couple of things hung upstairs. The sun is out again now!
Otherwise, just general tidying and stuff. I'm planning to do the bathroom this afternoon when DD has gone out. I never seem to get much done when it's her day off. Any excuse.0 -
pigpen you dont do anything by half do you have time for all that cleaning/tidying etc - what about getting your mum to take the kids for a couple of days to let you get on?
Now you .. are funny!!! My mother doesn't look after my children.. EVER.. she has watched them maybe half a dozen times and DS1 is 17!! And NEVER more than 2 or 3 at a time.. and that was an absolute emergency..
I've got 8 children. you should have known that already!! lolI've just picked up a large shaker of glitter and the kids had taken the lid off and not put it back on properly - most of it is now all over the floor.
We have blue glitter all over the front room.. and raisins.. and bunny foodEagerLearner wrote: »Hi everyone I am a newbie ...
