Well I've emptied the bin in the LR and picked up some of the stuff that's spread all over the floor and brought my washing in. Then I got sidetracked by a phone call from my brother.

Definitely possible but depends what you want. None of my 3 marriages have cost more than £1000 and the first two cost only a few hundred each.

    Please share.

We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

they're cats, they do it because they can :p

Haven't done the bathroom after all, but I've cut the grass back and front and cleaned out the (one fish) fishtank.

The bathroom will still be there tomorrow ;)

TBH i know i have been married before but i have not got a clue:confused: . I was 18 and my mum did alot of the organising....:o .

First two [ 1st when 19 and at uni and second when 29 and had 2 kids and was 7mths pregnant!] were simple affairs with everyone pulling together to do things, reception for both was in my home with myself doing most of the catering. 1st wedding I made the dress in a blue laura ashley material and wore cork clogs on my feet - it was 1975!! Honeymoon was in Paris.
2nd wedding I wore a maternity dress in red!!Honeymoon this time was with two kids aged 4 and 1 and a half at mum in laws in Yorkshire.

My third wedding was in 2002 and I wanted something a little different. We are both great music fans so decided to get married from the Cambridge Folk Festival, Day before we set up camp [in a tent] at the festival ...next morning we dressed up and got a taxi to the registry office in Cambridge where friends and family were waiting. After the service and photos we all walked down the hill to the river Cam where we had arranged for punts to take us down to Granchester. At Grantchester we had arranged a meal for everyone in a thatched roof pub. We had one end of the pub and the landlord had arranged the tables in a horseshoe arrangement with golden tableclothes and beautiful flower arrangements. We then had the sole services of two waiters who brought the meals and drinks. We had organised the meals in advance. After that everyone returned to Cambridge in taxis to collect cars home and we had a taxi to the festival site. We spent the rest of the weekend at the festival. Honeymoon was in Canada including a helicopter flight over Niagra Falls [ this holiday obviously didn't come out of the wedding budget!]

Things was at the grand age of 46 [ in 2002] I wanted it to be what I wanted and not what other people wanted.
