AnW's Mum - I think there's just lil-me on hols now - mind you it'll be even quieter next week as mudbath won't be here!:p
What you trying to say? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Actually, I don't know how to break this to you but i'm gone for two and a half weeks! Don't get upset now

House tidy, my stuff and children's stuff packed. DH didn't leave his stuff out so he can pack when he gets in. Lists for what's in each suitcase - I am getting toooooo sad! Actually, it's just so when DH says 'have you packed....?' I'll be able to check! xx0 -
Please enlighten me

Oh you haven't lived:rotfl: . DD makes an ello race track which has high sides and lots of turns and 'jumps'. Hamster and human hamster (my hand) races down the track and see who wins :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . Well, you did ask! DS and DD were cheering us on and....the hamster won :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . Yes, i'm mad! xx0 -
Ah peace at last. Have just talked DD (5) to go and have a lay on her bed whilst quietly watching cbeebies. I the vain hope that she might nod off for an hour. She's had far to many late nights and today she's tired, whingy and miserable. Fingers crossed.0

Pigpen - how did pi$$y clinic go? (I always wondered why you wrote it like that, now I know!).
I love buzz - we have the jungle one and the monster rumble. It's for children but the games are just so funny - especially the one when the monkeys are all parachuting and you have to throw a huge weight to each other. The loser is the one holding it when you hit the ground. It's hilarious but, saying that, i'm the one who enjoys the hamster racing!!! xx0 -
mudbath cant believe your only going onyour hols I'm back to work on Friday cant belieive the holidays have gone so quickly we had 7 weeks off and it just feels like yesterday that it was week 10
-
JJef- did you have a good holiday? They took the splint off my finger yesterday with the fantastic advice....it'll hurt if you do too much so you'll stop doing too much!!! Fab and it's true:rotfl: .
Waiting for DH to come home early then we're taking doglet to my mum and dads and popping up to the allotment for some last minute weeding. Then it's back here....DHs packing and i'll vacuum throughout. DH's out for the night and i'm watching tv and painting my toenails and having pigpen's dog biscuit fondue :rotfl: :rotfl: - oh, it's been worth the hard work

froddington - terrific news! My DS1 also in the poorly-hand-now-getting-better gang!
AnW's mum and jjef - oh, no, as if there isn't enough to do when you get back from holiday, with all the unpacking and washing!! I do hope it is sorted out soon, and I think you should both have a special 'back from holiday' treat!
mudbath - yes, I did the lists too, and it was great to come home to a clean and tidy house, even if I was tired the week before!
Thank you for all the nice comments. Can I also please add that I do this list not because I am a domestic goddess, but because I'm not, and the only enjoyment I get out of housework is the end result?!
Main bedroom done pretty much, although the bedlinen is still in the tumbler. If is is dry now, I'll go and replace it. For once, I'm actually on my own - all the teenagers have been delivered to different destinations, and I'm just waiting for a flurry of texts to go and pick them up.
DS1 has just heard today that he can go to the Reading Festival - he applied to be one of the staff. Please don't let him trip over anything.
A and AS level results day tomorrow - am nibbling fingernails. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
