Have just got back from physio and have been told I can start driving again after 15 weeks out as the strength in my hand is now up to 9kg!! And I don't have to go to physio again for a month (just carry on with exercises at home) and then she might well discharge me :T
Am stupidly pleased as I was told to expect up to 5 months of physio and it's only been 2 so far
Will get to the list for flying when I've come down from the ceiling!!
:T Way to go Froddy :T0 -

Just a quick catch up and then it's off to the uniform shop! My sister has lent us Buzz for the PS and now the gingerkids are in awe of me and my knowledge of all trashy pop music (especially from the 80's!) DS said i was 'really good' - with a huge element of surprise in his tone of voice!
Plan is to go buy jumpers, post some letters from work and then back to make cookies and hobnobs.
Hugs to everyone who needs today!0 -

Thanks, just feeling a bit down in the dumps today. Think it's the weather. I am seriously sick and fed up of all this rain. Went into the bank and the woman behind the counter said that alot of people had been in today feeling fed up and lethargic.
Plus I haven't got anywhere decorating wise with DS bedroomm or my deliveries. Might get up earlier tomorrow ( been gone 8.00 am since Monday) get me jobs done and then go delivering.
Well I'm gonna have a coffee. Wallow a bit longer in my pit of self pity. Watch Ghost Whisperer and then do the hoovering downstairs, moving to the upstairs when' IT' comes home so I don't have to speak to him.;) Shouldn't be hard this evening as I think football is on. Might have an early night as well. Do me good perhaps.
Be back later0 -

I love that game. Have only played the sports one though which I wasn't to good at. I'd love a bash at the music one. 80's sounds right up my street.:o0 -
Thanks everyone for all your nice wishes
I'm still bouncing!!

lunch break here, washer almost finished the 2nd load, 1st in the dryer. Already looks like a chinese laundry here as there are piles of stuff that didn't get put away before hols as we were deciding what to take with us!! Toys all over the place as A & W are 'amusing themselves' Had to wash out the wheelie bin this morning as the freezers in the garage stopped working whilst we were away (extension cable RCD thingy cut out). Poor Dad came to mow the lawns and nearly passed out from the smell. He chucked everything in the bin and the lid was not lifted until after the bin men and been. The smell is gradually going and the garage is being left open as long as possible for the air to circulate. No point in claiming on the HI as the excess is £100 (I think) and then they would put premiums up.
So seeing as the FF out there is now empty think I will offer it on freecycle (once I have made sure it still works).
We seem to be having a very similar time - just back from hols, washing everywhere and freezer not working although in my case it was switched off by a helpful hubby who unpluged everything he could before we went away but took out the wrong plug  so i have just spent an hour emptying and cleaning it, unfortunately it was fairly full but not much I can do about it0
