    has anyone who had a virgin stock problem email,but not had a cancellation email.

    and is anyone in same boat as me.. not had any email at all from virgin other than confirmation.

  • I had a Virgin stock order e-mail (GTA: San Andreas). Placed my order on 1st Nov, e-mail said 10th Nov. I e-mailed them on Thursday (18th Nov), no response as yet, will phone them today.

    Placed order with Tesco 11AM Friday, got cancellation email yesterday....

    Emailed back customer services asking how such a large multinational company can run out of stock within 10 days of an item being released, why they took payment if they knew the item was out of stock, and why it appeared on the site as in stock when it wasnt, or shud i say "wasnt" :P

    Will have to wait and see what they say...
  • I phoned Virgin and questioned their T&C's. They apoligised for sending a standard email. After about 20 mins on the phone, she said they do not sell hardware and it should not have been have stated bundle. Not much more I could say, maybe phone trading standards, do you think it is worth it?
  • virgin are tv advertising an xbox bundle just now......they sell hardware alright
  • I emailed Virgin to say that they had broken their T&C and had enetered into a contract with me by the fact they removed money from my account. this was their response

    i look at these finds on this site and think yep let's go for it, i managed to get a mp3 player from amazon and a mobile from woolies and tbh they handled it in the right manner......not the fact i got them but did not tell bare face lies and this is what has annoyed me and it looks like it has annoyed others as well.


    anyone can make a mistake, it's admitting it which is the case here, woolies said yep we made a mistake and we cannot honour the order then this would be accepted by most, but tesco's are treating me and others like retards.

    i have been with tescos for a few years and my wife uses them regular to do our sons shopping to his house in the uk while he is at uni.

    i will be sending the same saved email repeatedly until i get a decent reply from them and i will only use iceland from now on.

    You won't recieve a reply for quite some time. Im still waiting on an e-mail sent last week. Their e-mail system is really quite bad at the moment. Still, good luck :)
