OK, I was as good as a year late for the Argos - I'm not bitter? But to join this justified war against a big one is great compensation - solidarity is what we need - I get the feeling some are convieniently 'giving up the ghost'.
As for Tesco, if anyone has promo codes for spades with them, dont bother cos they wont ave any. I think they could be making a bad situation worse. I have had my order come back as 'not available from stock', Surely that implies Tesco will not be stocking it again. If supply was the problem, then you should get an email saying delivery would be a bit longer?
Can the retailer now 'stock' and sell this item at a higher price?
If T's email had said 'we got our price wrong', I would have thrown the towel in.
Seems like Tesco can Pikachu's thier customers.0 -

How strange that 3 of you have had cancellation e-mails from Virgin and I just got one stating that the item is out of stock.
I'll keep checking to see if they send me a cancellation e-mail. ::)0 -
The cancellations seem to be very randomly generated don't they! I wonder if they are only cancelling orders that are showing on the suppliers' database as several ordered to the same address? If the supplier is the same for Virgin, Tesco and Woolies then surely everyone would get a mail at roughly the same time otherwise?!? My tip is choose one site and book just one! Of course, my theory will probably turn out wrong but it doesn't hurt to guess.... 8)0
