Sometimes animals have these off days and you tend to think you will see how they go in a few days as more often than not they pick up, obviously this person is concerned now its gone on a few days and she feels it necessary to act now

Not being funny (well, actually I am), but you leaving it 4 days makes me mad! You need to act quickly if you are going to be serious about owning a dog..

before you start i have had dogs all of my life my last one was 17 years old when i lost her last year. I got Ruby when she was 11 wks i have put off taking her to the Vet over the weekend as she perks up then goes to sleep again. I do look after my animals and i dont care about the money it will cost to get her better!!
  • I find it hard to believe that your vet doesnt have a number for out of hours, My vets has an out of hours number whichs goes to a different clinic which we can use anytime.

Hope your pup gets well soon

Sorry, but I don't agree at all.. this is a puppy we are talking about, not an elderly dog who might be a bit run down.

A puppy can get very ill, very quickly.

& sorry to be pedantic, but it more than a few days.. It's 4 days..

She should have felt it neccessary to act after at least 1 or maximum 2 days.

    I never mentioned money

I never said you don't look after your animals

I said you need to act quicker than you have, 4 days is too long! I stand by my comment, sorry you don't agree, but that's tough..!

The OH mentioned last night that my house is starting to 'Ming'

we've had pup a month now and although all accidents are cleaned up immediately he said that it smells of dog and dog pee.

Whats the suggestion of cleaning the house to reduce or rid the house of dog pee and reduce dog smell.

    Suggestions would be great

Brilliant, glad she's better, still best to let vet check on her again today, but good to see an immediate response to treatment :T
