Good luck - it could be a hard battle, but worth it. Don't feel bad about this, you know what you both need to be able to carry on, and remember that squeaky wheels get the most oil.
Once the care plan is agreed a Care Co-ordinator - mental health worker or approved social worker - will have lead responsibility. They will either be your best friend or worst enemy, it's a lottery. I hope things go well for you..................
