Following the recent changes to your call charges as per your letter dated 5th August 2008, as these changes are of detriment to me I am writing to give you thirty days notice to cancel my contract, as set out in my contract in parts 4, 4.1b(ii) and 10.1(d)

thats what i used i read it out to the person....

Apparently this wont work if u got ur contract august 2007...im guesing that u wudnt get this letter if u had bought after august 2007...

so anyone who got this letter can do this

Dont phone three customer service as they have not got a clue about the breach of contract on three's side. Guy told me to send a letter to glasgow office.

I have already sent my email to three (from my three) and will also send a recorded letter tomorrows.

Read your thread, but you never cancelled due to the £1 difference in itemised billing ?

Sorry, I never made it clear. I cancelled due to the call charges now being rounded up to a minute, even though it made absolutely no difference to my monthly bill. The fact that a 20 second call now gets billed as a minute instead of a 20 second call is of detriment to you.

My contract was also renewed in November 2007, starting a new 28 month one from that point, so obviously after August 2007.

ok i have left the email and im going to let them get back to me.

I have called again now and they said no u cannot cancel as u have taken ur contract out after august 2007, so u have agreed to the new terms ....which i dont know what the hell she is on about....then i was aguing and all i see the phone is gone off ....she closed the phone on me

the 3 customer services on the phone have no idea what there talking about, people write in dont even bother these I****s ....now there telling me that there is not way of canceling a contract without paying a early termination fee....
