Thanks aliEnRIK. I've not all that long ago un-installed AVG and replace this unless you can advise otherwise.
At the moment I've ThreatFire, Avast & ccleaner downloaded onto my computer.0 -
aliEnRIK, I didn't quite get what you were suggesting. AVG removal tool isn't the same as AVG antivirus and antispyware protection is it?
I'll have a look into GunJack's suggestion in the meantime.0 -
as per RIK's post #22, even when you uninstall many antivirus progs, they don't quite take all the elements with them. Running the avg removal tool should remove any leftover bits that your original uninstall didn't get. It can save the possibility of conflicts with your new antivirus and generally be smoother running...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
