Have you applied for the healthystart vouchers? Families on certain benefits are entitles to free milk, fruit and veggies.

thanks for the childcare help, but apprently our local authority only has limited funding for this and theres never any money left in the pot time i get my forms in ggrrhhhh
APPEAL APPEAL APPEAL! There is no excuse for your local authority to deny your kids free education, especially if the meet the age/placement criteria. Make friends with your health visitor asap. They can also help with writing letters of support etc. Tell your midwife of your situation and see your GP. Explain, cry, unburden yourself, do whatever it takes to make him/her take you seriously so you can get the support you need.
Contact CSA and ask them to send you the forms. Fill them out and put down your ex's parents address as his (or indeed all relatives and friends of his that you can think of). Was he working? if so put that information down on the paperwork too. Basically as much information as you can think of that will help them track him down. Can you speak to his family and ask for their help? Hard one I know, but it may shame him into helping, having said that if he walks out on you in the current circumstances, he obviously has no shame! Post the forms the second that baby pops out!
Have you got the kids organised for when you go into labour? I know its a few weeks away, but then you have peace of mind too. Maybe a couple of nights in hospital (if you can stand it) will give you a bit of a break before you go home.
Are you in a rural location? What about a short walk to visit local cow/horse fields? (don't tire yourself out too much though). Count them ,talk about them, give them silly names and take the kids home and ask them to draw cartoon strips about them? They could continue the adventures over the course of a week of so and act them out in the garden!
Try not to rely too much on meat when you cook. Perhaps have vegetarian meals 3 or 4 night a week, and have good quality meat as a treat. Roast or something on Saturday or Sunday, a bit bigger than you need, then you have leftovers for a nother meal. Veggies are cheap and filling. Don't worry about buying frozen if prep is an issue.
    Hugs.

hi there, surely you can get your mobile cheaper, i have a contract with Virgin, 300 min and 300 text a month for £10. Do you spend £200 a month on clothing and footwear? i am married and have 3 children and I am in a similar debt position, so I really do sympathise and I am just trying to keep a diary of everything that I spend, this is my first month, so dont know how it will go! anyway I bearly spend anything on clothes and shoes and I love clothes, i scour the sales and places like sainsburys (yuk) i know, but i cant afford clothes, is there anyone who would help you out, a parent etc?
