Okay, I'm having a mini dilemma.... I was looking through a magazine last night and saw this dress http://www.lipsy.co.uk/Product/16779_Lace_Diamante_Button_Dress_.aspx . Although I'm normally a jeans & hoodie type of girl I really like it, but it's £50 plus £4 postage which is a lot more than I'd usually pay for a dress. Because I obviously can't try it on I don't know what it will look like on me, and I don't know how lipsy sizing comes up because I've never tried anything of theirs before.
My mum has owed me £40 for the last year, but she has said I'm going to get it back soon, and I'm getting the £25ish cheque from global test market once it has been processed so I wouldn't need to dip into the money I already have as such (I had kind of written off the £40 before I spoke to here the other day). Would I be an idiot to buy it? I'd love to wear it to my boyfriends birthday but can't decide what to do, argh! Does anyone know how lipsy sizing comes up?Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £181,991.57Overpayments since 27.03.19: £59,482.47Moving fund so far £4500 - Premium bonds £4,0000 -

Nikki - that dress is so pretty. I would say buy it. If it doesnt fit, or you dont feel comfortable you can send it back. You have an occasion to wear it - your boyfriends birthday - so why not treat yourself this once?
I have just written a nice review of where my mum lives in Ireland (havent posted it yet!). and now I cant wait to go there in December!

Thanks Amy & Mabel. I've bumped a post for lipsy discount codes as I can't find any so I'll see if I have any joy with that later tonight. If not I'll order it and see what it's like when it arrives. I love beans on toast, with cheese though! Anyway, I'm going to run off to see my friend now
