    Debt: just my mortgage :D
  • Well done on your tv, Jen. Is that more than you had it listed on Amazon for??

I'm here :P I'm boooooored as bored can be! Done my scratchcards (just 10p today), listed something ebay, now lost as to what to do! There's no way I'm going to manage the £1000 challenge as I have completely ran out of ideas!

Nichelette I think you mentioned Dawanda. Do you make many sales on there? Also I can't find out what the fees are... Hmmm, I might give it a shot as I have some old crafting supplies left so will put together a few necklaces.

    Afternoon everyone :)

I hope the bet comes off fr you yukki, I'm still too scared to try it at the moment.

I've had another fun day of working with the idiot. It's taking a lot of effort not to walk out, but he volunteered me and another girl to do some work on files (away from him) between Monday & Thursday so I have to cope with tomorrow then I won't have to be around him for a bit. I have my interview on Thursday, but at the moment regardless of the outcome I'm going to tell the agency I've got the job and have to start Monday. If need be I can either look for some temp christmas work or sigh up with another agency. I just can't take any more of him.

In better news I ordered a boots voucher from IPSOS so that can go towards christmas presents, and I've avoided buying the dress I want so far.

CL - Dawanda is still quite a small site so it is hard to sell stuff on there at the moment (though you aren't losing anything by listing as there is no listing fee). It's probably better to try etsy it is a LOT bigger and hence you are more likely to make a sale on it. The only downside of that is that as it's all in dollars you need a credit card to be able to pay the fees.

I should probably hit dooyoo, I naughty, I haven't written anything for two days :o

    been at work- boring!!!

Really unmotivated at the mo, just can't be arsed at all- was a lot better at paying off debt than saving.

I am loving the saving as i really really want my own house but i could be doing more than i am. Never do any daily clicks now apart from Quanti as find scratchcards much more profitable , i must start Dooyoo for Christmas pressies!

I love saving. Apparently people who have been in debt are usually the best savers.

I have something that might help Jen if I'm right about her having to renew her car tax... I have to renew mine too, but I've just been looking at the new car tax bands here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Nl1/Newsroom/Budget2008/DG_073093 . I was going to get a years tax at £120, but it turns out that next year a years tax for my car will go down to £90 for the year. For that reason I'm going to spend £66 on six months and save myself £24 on the yearly rate (that's with the £6 loss on six months taken into account) when I have to renew it in six months. I'm glad I read about it now!
