Jen, if you look on the renewal documentation you need to see how much C02 your car emits, it's measured in g/km. If it's 140g/km or less you could save a bit, but if it's 151 or more you will save youself a bit by buying the full 12 months tax if you can afford to.

The discount is only going to be for cars registered after 2001 which is a pain as my oh is buying another car but its only go to be an N reg, better than our current K reg though. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

In that case I'm not sure whether it will apply to you Jen, it says it's for cars registered after March 2001, but it doesn't say anything about ones registered before that. It seems a bit stupid to me, everyone should have the same rate regardless of how old the car is. Hey guys
Been soooo busy with working, only managing to do a few reviews on dooyoo a day, nothing else.
Amy - glad you managed to get the boots christmas mag, i must look out for it tomorrow. Do you go to the Christmas events Amy? London Oxford St (the big one) has their event on the 23rd october, spend £50 and get £10 back in boots points. I always go to my local one because its always a good event. They do play Christams music tho, and thats a bit silly in October lol.
How's everyone else???

I think you're right, but I think it's unfair to penalise people who have older cars because in a lot of cases people who have older cars are the ones on lower incomes who can least afford an increase. Sorry, I'm ranting...the government just annoy me.Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470
