I got a mixed box, and am very excited that I got a mango :D

I also had bananas, which is why I made banana muffins. I think I only had the bananas and the flour and had to buy everything else :o But I'll take them to work tomorrow, so everyone will love me and I won't spend money on biscuits...

    Hi all wave.gif

Sorry I haven’t been around all week – have been putting in lots of hours at work (both 1st and 2nd jobs!) – very DFW, but not so conducive to surfing the net (sleep won out! rest.gif).

    Anyway, today I have:
    • Checked online banking
    • Done piggyclicks
    • Walked to work, then on to Weightwatchers, back to work and back home again – saving 4 x bus fare, and getting free exercise (8.8 miles, according to www.walkit.com!!) walk.gif
    • Helped out at WW so didn’t pay fee to weigh, plus got a free box of blueberry bars (worth £2.05)
    • Took lunch to work (really wanted a Subway, but took the last piece of last weekend’s tortilla out of the freezer, so saved the price of a 6” turkey breast and ham sub…£2.40/50ish?!) twocents.gif
    • Had breakfast and dinner out of store cupboard
    • Charged mobile phone at work
    • Picked up some yellow sticker shopping on the way home in M&S and Sainsbury’s (pass them both on way home from 2nd job, so always pop in for a quick “bargain hunt”!).
    • Did 2 lots of washing which have dried on airer
    • Got a free sample of Purina dried cat food through the post (courtesy of MSE link). Included 2 x £1 off coupons, so have popped them into purse for future shopping trips (Piglet puss has recently developed a liking for Purina catmilk.gif– he is a puss of expensive tastes! But as he is getting quite old and fussy now, I am just happy to find something he likes to eat…it seems to make more sense to spend a little more and know he will finish the plate…yes, I’m a pushover - whereas I used to be a lot “harder” and make him eat whatever was available – so £2 off is most welcome!!)
Hope cats are OK tomorrow at the vets, loopyloulou – bless them, they cost a fortune, but we wouldn’t be without them! cat.gif

Alphie – hope the hangover’s slightly better this evening! boggled.gif

Poorbabe – well done on the £5 find! woohoo1.gif

Hi pen_and_paper – welcome to the thread! welcome2.gif
