I have to say I got this from a guide on dooyoo recently.
I had no thought of revenge rating or anything close to it, I found it extremely off putting and rude.
If you think the comment is out of order, then report it to Dooyoo or talk to the guide or both! Most guides are decent, but you can go straight to Dooyoo if you think the guide will be unreasonable.0 -

It can help to state that you post reviews elsewhere, and your username on these other sites, but it doesn't have to be in your review and I'd personally rather see it in your profile blurb instead. Your review should be a review and IMO should stand alone. No references to other reviews, no references to other Dooyoo members, no "thanks for reading" etc. Your reviews are more for non-Dooyoo members than for your fellow Dooyoo members, so all this other stuff is unecessary for anyone that comes to Dooyoo for information.
Thanks, i did leave a comment at the end of my review in brackets

Works for me. The other thing I found was that once people started reading me around, I no longer needed to do that, especially as I use the same or similar usernames pretty much everywhere. If your usernames are significantly different, what you've done is, IMO, a good idea.
Cheers.

Personally I think it makes it easier to spot that the review hasn't been copied etc by placing it in the review. It only needs a couple of words, doesn;t have to be major. Each to our own eh.0 -
dooyooMiles Earned: 4420

Can anyone help me understand this? Why are some of my points redeemable when i don't have enough to cash anything in yet?0 -
Beenie i think it takes time for them to turn your pending amounts into actual doo yoo miles i think its the same for me the two reviews i posted tonight will stay pending for a short amount of time untill they clear it and verify and put it into my actual dooyoo miles section
I was going to wait for a cash payout but its going to take me forever and i'm not that far off an amazon voucher i think i'm nearly the same amount as you beenie :-)0 -
I'm hoping i can look back on the below in a few weeks time and it be loads more!
Does anyone know how i can increase my review readings?0 -

Isn't that a very pessimistic attitude to have, though? I've been writing on multiple sites for years and not once have I even thought about specifying in a review that it is posted elsewhere and no-one's ever accused me of copying. Your profile is about you, you review is about the item/service being reviewed.
As stated above... non-members aren't worried about whether you've posted a review elsewhere. They're concerned about the accuracy of your review and its content regarding said item/service, not whether you're a member elsewhere.
It's also worth nothing that some members, including myself, will mark down for off-topic or unnecessary community references. Some will do it at the drop of a hat, some will require the references to be substantial. Those that are more than capable of spotting copiers will check a member's profile before making a report to Dooyoo, so it's not as if it will go unchecked. Additionally, from a practical point of view, if you have it in your profile, that's one thing to update should you have reviews deleted from any site. Add it to each review and you'll have to update them individually.0 -

Does anyone know how i can increase my review readings?- Write good reviews. That goes without saying, obviously. As stated in this thread by others, concentrate on the how's and why's of a product or service - your own personal experiences and opinions. The facts - ingredients, technical specs, track/cast listings etc. can all be found elsewhere. Few people use Dooyoo as a window shopping site. They tend to arrive having already done some homework and are looking for a final couple of things before making a decision on what to purchase. E.g. a consumer will already know that a specific camera has 1GB built min memory, is 10 megapixels, is black and has a 3" screen on it. They want to know if the screen is easy to view pictires on, if the camera takes good pictures, how the battery holds up etc.
- Read and rate around the site. Do lots of this. I mean lots. Your rates given out should really, really outnumber the amount of rates received. Make sure you read all reviews properly because...
- Make loads of comments, but make sure you say something constructive about the topic. "Great op! Nommed!" is not a good comment. It helps no-one. "I really enjoyed the movie, but I disagree about De Niro. I thought he was pants in this, even though I am a fan." It's still short, but adds to the subject matter and shows you've read the review.

Thank you Freddy.
I thought i had done quite well rating, I have now rated 143 reviews to 104 of mine which have been rated. Is this really poor then?0
