So let me get this clear.
If i booked Direct with ryan air website , yet may have gone through to Ryan airs website through travelsupermarket.com i'm basically okay.
i have a confrimation E-Mail direct from Ryan air .
i only ask as it not for me but my folks who i booked it for ( they don't do computers  ) .
personally i think this is disgusting on Ryan Air's part, and the reason i'm flying out a few days later on Aer Lingus . £10 more expensive , but worth it to avoid flying with them. i would have booked my folks on Aer Lingus but they don't fly to the destination on the day they must travel .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Aer Lingus
dont' mention them to me, i had flights booked for 20 of us to fly to shannon with them, good prices as well £50 each
we booked them as soon as they came out.
Then 4 weeks before we were due to fly, Aer Lingus decided to e-mail me to tell me that they were no longer flying to that destination from manchester.
well that left me in the lurch, so it was of to ryanair site, and i managed to book flights with ryanair, not as good flight time as the aer lingus flights, but at a cost of £20 meant a saving of £30 per person, so i contacted the hotel and we booked another nights accommodation. so that worked out better
Also took over 8 weeks to get a refund of Aer lingus, then it came in dribs and drabs, was never the right refund, and each phone call cost a packet.
Would never touch them with a barge pole again0 -

My apologies to you and everyone else about repeating post but as I said in my post I heard this on the news this morning and needed to go out did not have time to do a search but thought it important to put on a quick post just in case it wasn't common knowledge and people needed to act quicklyBumped for the people who look no further than the 1st couple of threads.

Here is another report from the Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/2524912/Ryanair-threatens-to-cancel-passenger-tickets.html Seems its all down to lost revenue and the 3rd party not paying the €7.50 booking fee to compensate it.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

There was just something on our local news about Ryanair refusing those people who turned up for their flights today who had booked using a screenscraper. Quite a number of people have been affected and there isnt a refund or alternative flight offered. Now I cant find the relevant article on the news website, but found this on ryanair's http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/news.php?yr=08&month=aug&story=reg-en-050808 does this include all screenscraper sites or just certain ones, and is Martyns own cheapflight affected. Wouldnt want to book a ticket honestly through somewhere then get refused at the airport?
