I am really glad that someone else has said that, cos I looked at the last lot of 50p items and thought the same.

It will be a price crunch offer when it is a standard pack with the price crunches to 50p - till then it is just another sales gimmick!

I only got the bacon X 2 as I thought that was a good price and my brood like a bacon sarnie at the weekend.

i noticed a similar issue in tesco with their 50p fruit and veg deal. you can buy loose peppers for 50p each which seemed like a good deal unless you just happen to notice that their prepacked pack of 3 retails for £1.38 :rolleyes:

the pack of 4 eggs are also only the value ones...............they are only £1.19 for 12 anyway.

I get it from the cash and carry and whilst I was there, I picked up a pack of 'bacon mis-shapes' - 2.2kg for £1.99. It didn't look too bad, so I bought some (would've been silly not to, really) and I just cooked a bit - it came out like big, thick gammon steaks - to put into pasta for my daughter and it's delicious. Will definitely be buying that again.

Have the Morrisons 50p offers finished now. Been in my local Mr Ms today and couldnt find anything about 50p offers. Thought they were running all August. Was I mistaken or is it September already

I think that the offers were only running every other week?
With this week being the week off. Maybe someone else knows better??
