My figures quote Land Registry gains for Outer London. There are 4.5 Million people living in Outer London - I guess Stiffler's Mom is one of them, as are you too carolt. What a coincidence!

Can't be, carol lives in some mythical area in London where prices are still falling.

    Er...I don't live in London.

Haven't done for over half a decade.

    And your point is...?

    Are you? Is anyone?

Not sure how this is relevant...

I started the Nice People thread as a space where we could all get away from the bickering.

I certainly never claim I'm always 'nice' - that's why we have a special thread where niceness is preserved. I promise not to be rude to anyone - there.

May I suggest you return to that thread.
There certainly seems a lot more bickering going on in the rest of the forum since you wandered out

Clearly carolt is suffering from 'moods' and taking it out on the rest of us. I've commented on this for the last few months. Regular as clockwork, indeed as regular as the lunar cycle....

It's interesting how she is so quick to call into question other people's honesty and integrity, yet you barely have to scratch the surface of her MSE story to see how it simply doesn't stand up to any scrutiny at all.

One minute she is a teacher, the next she owns a school, the next she is one of the long-term unemployed and re-entering the market place in a new job (congratulations by the way). One minute she is not buying because she can't afford it, the next she is waiting for the crash to wipe 40% off house prices, the next minute (when house prices rise) she isn't buying because is looking at schools for her 'gifted' child. The list of contradictions goes on.

I'm all for a bit of escapism, but I wish people would conduct their fantasy lives in World of Warcraft and not on here....
"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.

'WILL' is my prediction. I fully agree I could be wrong, though I would be somewhat surprised, to put it mildly, if prices just stopped in mid ski-slope and suddenly headed straight back up again, without a kind of flat bit on the bottom of the graph, if you know what I mean. We shall see. Happy to eat my hat if prices do not continue falling; will you bet yours they won't?

Is it a slow day today, or do some people just have far too much time on their hands generally? :p

Enjoy - unlike Harry I have never that I recall deleted a back post, so feel free to repost all 7000 odd - should keep you out of mischief for a few months... :)
