If you're successful in cancelling, they'll let you have your PAC code.0

Have two accounts with 3 & received two letters today advising of the new charges so phoned them & after getting transferred to 4 different people eventually got told I could cancel & did I want to keep my numbers. I said yes & then I got disconnected  Called them back again & was told that the letters I received were sent in error and should not have been sent to me as they are not on my price plan! I explained that earlier I was told I could cancel & even get to keep my numbers but again he said this new charge will not effect you.
I have sent an email & await their response
My two accounts are Direct Talker, 750 mins0 -

If 3 have confirmed you can cancel you can keep your phone, my Nokia N95 was only 1 month old when I cancelled.0 -
My friend got one of these letters, they are 10 months into an 18 month contract...sony k800i.....£18 per month (was £25 but £7 loyalty discount).....direct vtt 500 plan...i think it includes 300mins 150 texts.25 picture 25 video and £5 free content.if ive got that right..............they are keen on the idea of a new phone but not sure if it would be to their advantage to cancel. they never use above their quota of mins.0
