i was asking what was the best thing to do as i just didnt want to take it to store if all that was going to happen was customer services there were going to refund me, then maybe throw the meal away

So why the need to post in a forum then if you already knew the answer?

As with all machinery things can go wrong.

It's probably part of some rubber belt from a piece of machinery so I would take it back to the store with packaging if you still have it so the manufacturer can see when this contamination would have happened.

It's likely that other meals could be affected too.

You should be reasonably compensated (it could be they give you vouchers or replace the product and give you a refund?)because you couldn't eat your meal, took time to return product to the store etc.

    It won't hurt to complain

I am still bored, and granted, slightly immature BUT I take time to use all the letters allocated to certain words.
You are not charged on here per letter so go on, have fun, knock yourself out.

As I clearly wrote with mass produced products they'll probably never know exactly how it happend. Theres no rubber splattering machine that went slightly wrong!

2 jokes in one night, are you on something?

Have to agree with you though (dear god, again!!), it's probably a one-off, or more likely a piece of animal - having seen the meat they use in these meals;);)

Check the Argos thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1085215, I might have made some jokes there. Well I always do but I don't think people understand my sense of humour!
