ta Bun........I feel excited now about it. It felt right as soon as I saw it. I was close to booking a hotel B+B in Lloret for only £4 more each for the whole week but even thought this means buying food, I prefer this place (the other said occasional noise through the night because right in the middle of bars etc) and I'll pack cereal and coffee etc in the case to save a few pennies.

wWe're doing self catering-we usually stop at the Tesco right in Barnstaple on the way to Woolacombe and get everything there-except for things like ketchup etc which we bring from home.

bleurgh-just ate dumplings with my chicken stew and they are sittting like erm, dumplings in my gut. Not nice...

oooh, wonder if I can 'find' some sauce sachets anywhere to take.....thanks for the idea Bun...thing is that means going somewhere they are available and I never get to go out!!!

I tend to 'procure' sachets of sauces whenever we go places and keep them for holidays-I've got LOADS of tea/coffee's etc from all my hotel stays (and even gave some to Snags as well!) and save those...it does make a difference in your luggage!

One of the most thoughtful presents I have ever had was from a fellow DFW-er, who gave me a tub full of sachets of all sorts of stuff for the camper! :T

(Another 'most thoughtful gift ever' was a giant jaffa cake, but I can't think about that now as I'm not allowed any chocolate till tomorrow )
