I clean my oven with vinegar and bicarb, cuts through the grease really easily!!!! I do agree with Graham about people being to sensitive about dirt, but i do like a clean kitchen (and bathroom), but i now only use natural ingredients, nothing chemical!!!!0

soda crystals - cheap and clean anything. soak shelves etc in the bath, dirt comes off no problem. Also great for unblocking sinks, cleaning patios etc..0

I know nothing about cleaning judging by the state of my place, but just wanted to say congratulations and good luck, hope it all goes smoothly!:wall:0

I have read somewhere on here that putting kitchen towel which has been soaked in diluted bleach solution on the sealant overnight helps. I haven't tried it yet, but I intend to.
I don't have any oven tips though sorry, good luck with the move though0 -

Buy a bottle of ammonia. Put all the oven shelves in a double bin bag( one inside the other) and then avert your eyes while you add a cup of ammonia to the bag. Tie the bag up and knot at the top and LEAVE outisde overnight. Next morning drain the bag( again keeping your eyes averted- the smell is strong!) and you will be able to hose down the oven shelves etc which will be beautifully clean and sparkling. If unsure PM me for advice.

Well i used vinegar and bicarb in the oven and it worked a treat, used a bit of stardrops on a real tough bit but it came off
put the shelves in the bath with some bio washing liquid (all we had) and was amazed how well i worked!! my bf was shocked when he came in and i was scrubbing them in the bathroom, but when i showed him a before and after he was impressed.
its actually quite satisfying esp when its easier than i thought it woud be!:money:0
