Excellent. That was quick.
I will have a play with my email settings to get it working in future.0 -

If you set it to be your default email programme/client, it should bring up the correct one and let you email away.
Post on the Techie Forum if you're not sure, and someone like me, superscaper, BexTech or BritBrat'll help you out.
I have it working with Windows live mail. Had not installed it as I did all emails from Hotmails website.0 -
If I can just take this thread OT for a second:
Bongedone, I use Thunderbird on my laptop and desktop PCs, and it's got an option for setting itself as your default email client, and Windows Live mail should have the same option (not sure where it is as I haven't installed it on here).
Once that's done, any email link will fire up Live mail and let you write an email. You could also put a new Internet shortcut on your desktop and point it to mailto: then you can create an email at any time just by double-clicking that shortcut icon.
Now back to the topic, sorry folks! One of the resident MSE nerds will now be quiet0
