When did they say they would be in contact at the end of the interview?0

I've never contacted anybody. I figure if they want me they'll get in touch. If they don't, there's no point.
In fact, I put them completely out of my mind the minute I walk out of the building after the interview.0 -
Hi
They often give you an indication at the interview when you should hear from them - did they give any at yours? If not I think about a week is reasonable before ringing.
Last job I went for they said 'by next friday definitely' but the friday went and passed so I left it 1 week after then rang and politely asked if they could they give me any indication when I might expect to hear, which they then rang me back later that day and offered me the job.0 -
The first interview they said they would let me know early part of this week but the 2nd interview is the 1 i felt i could do a better job but the person didnt say when he would get back to me but then i forgot to ask, id like to know if i was succesful regarding the 2nd interview so then i can stop thinking about itNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

In my job hunt I did send one letter confirming that I wanted the job after the interview and it may have made all the difference.
A bit of old-fashioned courtesy can help sometimes!
I wanted to say "oii! hurry up..." but that doesn't seem to fit the bill somehow....For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
Usually the question "when would you get back to me" is 1 I tend to ask, im still thinking whether I should email him, if he offers me the job then i can stop looking, its just the not knowingNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

It's also an idea to ask for feedback from your interview if you aren't appointed. You can learn a lot from that if they can be bothered to tell you!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

Tell them you have may have other offers, so would like to hear about xx job sooner rather than later. That way if they want you, they will feel the need to tell you quickly. And never accept the salary they offer, they will always offer less than they can afford to give, so ask for more upfront.tribuo veneratio ut alius quod they mos veneratio vos0
