I feel sorry for Tescos Customer Services after xmas. How many people would have tested them out before xmas????!!! If there's loads coming back faulty now................

I heard something about the first wave being recalled by the company who makes them... not sure if it was these tho... just someone talking in Forbidden Planet...

Oh no!! Will have to unwrap my battlepack tonight and test it out...... My boys would be soooo naffed off if they don't work on xmas day. How typical is that? You fight (and possibly pay a fortune) to get THE toy for xmas and it might not work!!!! :santa2:

To be fair, I got another set which tested fine, and maybe I'm be a little harsh about the Argos staff. At least one of the two Daleks in the set would give fun on Xmas day and so long as the parent swapped it for a fully OK set ASAP maybe that's better than total dissapointment for the excited recipient.

Why do we need receipts? Tesco keep records on everything we buy so they could pretty soon check!
  • Tesco Extra South at Mereway had 4 left yesterday afternoon...in the first seasonal aisle with all the clutter down the middle, halfway up on the right hand side.

    Got mine !

The "normal" price most places was £39.99, internet, woollies, argos, original price in The Entertainer and Toys R Us .....

I think its earlier in this thread (or the Roboraptor one) it was said that Tesco were apparently selling them for £8 less than they bought them in for....
