found out that argos put their own sticker on everything (catalogue number) so they shouldn't take things back without the sticker. because the assistant knew somebody who desperately wanted a dalek she wrote the number on it in pen, she wanted my dalek with or without the cat number lol!
funny about the people in tesco with trolleys full of daleks - they're going for peanuts on ebay! i suppose they can take them back to tesco for the twenty pounds back.52% tight0 -

This Dalek Thing is getting out of hand, I fell like Arnie in the movie "Jingle All The Way", Ive just watched it on Sky. This toy is the must have boy toy this Christmas and no little boy will be happy unless Farther Christmas delivers.

it's a shame, there are frantic parents who haven't got ebay access or haven't heard of it. when i returned mine to argos there was a frenzy, everyone wanted it but there was a list of people waiting for the next one in stock.
my little nephew thinks santa brings what you want if you're good, he would have been gutted if he hadn't got one but his cousin and other boys did get one.52% tight0 -

You're right, more than 30000 viewings of this thread. Just goes to show the sorry state this country's coming to. What's the point of spending all that money on something that'll be played with for about 5 minutes (if its even noticed under the mound of other unnecessary overpriced presents that all kids demand nowadays) and broken by Boxing Day (probes snapped off/ chewed by dog).
