Just been into my Kays Account to find "no outstanding orders" and "no previous orders". Just telephoned them to find out that my order has been cancelled. No postal notification or anything. When I first place this order it stated "in stock"! Then I was told definitely end November..... Luckily managed to get the battlepack from Argos but was waiting for Kays as could get cheaper from them. I also have the woolworths ones.
But now I need a bit of advice.....
I have 2 sons so needed the battlepack or 2 daleks.
I have a battlepack from Argos and 2 5" daleks from woolworths (got 2 different frequencies so won't interfere with each other).
OK - so what do I keep? Which are best? Looking at the boxes, I am figuring the woolworths ones are just single "battlepack" ones...am I right? The only (good?) thing with the battlepack ones are that one is black and the other gold (woolies ones are both gold) so they can tell which one is which.
Do the battlepacks do more than the little single ones?
Please help!!! Blimey - fancy having a "which one shall I keep" dilemma after all this!!!!!
(still waiting for Empire delivery, but after msgs above, take it they wont be coming either!)
Thanks. xx0 -

They probably can still do battle with two seperate daleks and their imagination so I would give them one each. The bigger ones seem nicer. They're not going to know any diffrent.HOW MUCH ?0 -
I have just looked at the prices people are charging on e-bay for these daleks...don't know why I am worried about the price - could double my money for each dalek if I keep the battlepack and sell the 2 5" ones separately! Some of them are going up to £50 with postage! And the battlepack is on there for £80!!! Has anyone else sold their daleks on e-bay??0

I managed to sell 3 12" Daleks on EBAY for a total of £210 - not bad for an initial £60 outlay0
-
Blimey - thats good! I've not sold anything on e-bay before, and I would presume the fact that I've got no "feedback" would go against me? Sorry - don't want to overlap with the e-bay board but I am seriously considering trying my luck. As long as I get back at least what I paid for them...0

I am sure you will get more than what you paid for - doctor who stuff is really selling well on ebay at the moment.0

I would point out that from what I have seen, the Battlepacks with the Doctor figure are going for a lot more than the ones with the Rose figure - that's because its Christopher Eccleston, and of course he announced he was leaving before the products had even been released.
Obviously for avid collectors in particular, getting their hands on a Battlepack with the doctor is very important, as it will not be available at all soon.
What has surprised me is where all these Daleks are coming from - I've had an order with PLay since mid September and for same with Amazon for over a month, and still no stock.
Luckily I have got one on reserve at Argos until Monday.
I've only recently managed to get my hands on the 12" R/C dalek, and yet there is something like 200 plus listed right now - there also seems to be quite a few Battlepacks listed.
As for the single 5" Daleks, I don't know if they are the same as the Battlepack - the ones in the Battlepack have infrared sensors to "shoot" at each other and they flash their lights if they're hit. Apart from Ebay I haven't seen the single 5" Daleks so I don't know what they do.
As far as I know, the 12" ones don't interact either, as their is no mention of infrared on those.0 -
Well my order arrived from empire yesterday and only one dalek!!! They have no more stock so couldnt send me the other one.
The only good thing was that because i had used a voucher for £20 off a £40 spend they only charged me £15 for the one dalek i have received so did get a bargain in a round about way. Still wanted the other one though, have sent them a stinky email not that it will do me any good, but made me feel better lol0
